Art contest / Character inspired by the card Fungus Flinger from Splinterlands (Eng-Esp)
Greetings, community, this time I decided to illustrate the fungus flinger card, as it is a monster in my point of view something tender and yet somewhat strange to the naked eye :3
Saludos, comunidad, en esta oportunidad decidí ilustrar a la carta de fungus flinger, ya que es un monstruo en mi punto de vista algo tierno y a la vez un tanto extraño a la vista simple :3
Well, my main idea was to turn it into a humanoid figure and from there I started, with a simple pencil sketch and then draw the lines that I would leave as a final sketch with marker, something I did not want to overlook are the warts that it has, I decided in this case to change them as spots but following a little bit the original.
Bien, mi idea principal fue convertirlo en una figura humanoide y de ahí empecé, con un boceto sencillo a lápiz y luego trace las líneas que dejaría como boceto final con marcador, algo que no quería pasar por alto son las verrugas que tiene, decidí en este caso cambiarlas como manchas pero siguiendo un poco el original.
Then I started with the background, with details like the grass, more mushrooms and the smoke emanating from the spheres originally held by the character, as it is looking good :p
Luego empecé con el fondo, con detalles como el césped, más hongos y el humo que emana las esferas que sostiene originalmente el personaje, como va quedando tiene buena pinta :p
We started with the color :D, I used a mix of yellow, orange and brown for the hands, thighs and hair, I loved how it turned out and for the body I used grey in light and dark shades for the shadows. After finishing I started to give color to the smoke that surrounds her with yellow, orange and a little green in some parts :)
Empezamos con el color :D, utilize una mezcla de amarillo, anaranjado y marron para las manos, muslos y cabello, me encanto como fue quedando y para el cuerpo utilice color gris en tonalidad clara y oscura para las sombras. Despues de terminar empece a darle color al humo que la rodea con amarillo, anaranjado y un poco de verde en algunas partes :)
In the mushrooms I used the same technique of mixing the warm colors and the result was very good :D in the grass I wanted to give a dark touch to contrast with the mushrooms, but then I came up with another idea ¬.¬ so I colored it with a light tone.
En los hongos utilize la misma tecniza de mezclar los colores calidos y el resultado fue muy bueno :D en el cesped queria darle un toque oscuro para que contrastara con los hongos, pero luego se me ocurrió otra idea ¬.¬ asi que le di color con un tono claro.
Here you can see how he was making a gradient in green tones, to give atmosphere to the drawing, as if he was coming out of the interior of a forest 🍄.
Aqui se puede apreciar como estaba realizando un degradado en tonos verdes, para asi darle ambiente al dibujo, asi como si estuviera saliendo del interior de un bosque 🍄
What do you think? at this stage I was already giving color to the letters of the character (excuse my handwriting haha), I wanted to add a box like the one on the letter but I liked much more the name at the top.
Que les parece? en esta etapa ya les estaba dando color a las letras del personaje (me disculpan mi letra jaja), queria agregarle un cuadro como el de la carta pero me gusto mucho mas el nombre en la parte de arriba
Final result! I hope you like it, and you were able to recognize that one of the mushrooms is gray like the character, haha as to give the impression of how it was before fully matured, :p as so to speak a baby mushroom, well, see you later, bai bai.
¡Resultado final! Espero les guste, y hayan podido reconocer que uno de los hongos es gris igual que el personaje, jaja como para dar la impresión de como era antes de madurar completamente, :p como por así decirlo un hongo bebe, bueno, hasta luego, bai bai
