Power up
Tomorrow is my birthday so this was a nice gift to myself. My vote is now worth $0.009 at 100%. Aslong as I can keep powering up at least 100 HIVE a month I'll be happy.
SPLINTERLANDS
This past month has been exciting for Splinterlands players with the introduction of the Splintershard governance token. I have only been playing splinterlands since June 29th. I got in right before a big investor that bought everything out of the shops. I picked up about 10 untamed packs, one land plot, and the summoner's spellbook to start my journey. I didn't know what was to come but I have enjoyed trading card games my whole life. Then it happend. Everything started to sell out. Prices started to rise. The airdrop got announced based on your owned assets which made them rise even more. Eventually that 20 dollar land plot I bought became a 500$ token that currently has no use. Now in hindsight I wish I put in A LOT more money because I see the potential to earn and have fun. The point of all this is that, this is where my HIVE I am powering up today came from mostly. Last month I powered up with Hive I got from selling my WAX. I have been selling the SPT I get for blogging about splinterlands and selling half the SPS I had. Now the focus is switching to staking more SPS instead of selling. We will have to see how SPS does when there are more options of earning it available. It looks like people are complaining about SPS as tournament rewards instead of DEC but I am more concerned about the fact we need to stake it to participate in events and such. When the new card set drops you will need SPS staked for the pre-sale so that's where I am focusing my attention now. One other crazy thing I would like to mention is the passive income I am earning for renting out cards on Splinterlands. When I bought those few untamed packs, I got lucky with a couple Legendary cards. One of which I have been renting out for 250-500 DEC daily. Passive income is what attracted to me to investing in the first place. I am holding onto my land plot even though it mooned because I think it presents the opportunity to earn more passive income from this game in the future.
Rising Star
The first thing I do in the morning is start a mission on rising star and it's the last thing I do before bed. Periodically throughout the day I get on and do missions but I am taking it pretty casual in the sense I'm not always worried about being on a mission. I ended up selling some Starbits to help power up this month even though I was saving it up for a card I really wanted. I noticed the card has more fans then skill though and that would actually set me back more then help me. This is an excellent play to earn blockchain game I would highly recommend to anyone.

It's the thought that counts and you pushed me past one cent! Now I feel like I hit a milestone. One cent might not sound like a lot but coming from .0001 it's pretty impressive. Thank you for that.
