Costal Nymph- Splinterlands Art Contest

Espero se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy quiero presentarles mi Presentación para la semana 272 del concurso de Splinterlands, para esta semana el personaje elegido ha sido Coastal Nymph es un personaje que me ha parecido muy llamativo desde siempre por su actitud bravucona, aunque me intriga un poco por no saber si en realidad se trata de una sirena o tiene piernas, me gusto mucho atreverme a dibujar este personaje les mostraré un poco del proceso de creación espero sea de su agrado.

I hope you are doing well, today I want to present you my Submission for week 272 of the Splinterlands contest, for this week the chosen character has been Coastal Nymph is a character that I have always found very striking because of its brave attitude, although it intrigues me a little for not knowing if it is really a mermaid or has legs, I really liked to dare to draw this character, I will show you a little of the creation process, I hope you like it.

Primero comencé haciendo el dibujo, quería hace un cuerpo fuerte y bien delineado, pero también una pose imponente, así que opte por dibujarla cruzadas de brazos con una sonrisa reteadora en su rostro y me gusto mucho el resultado, luego procedí a dibujar su outfit compuesto por una ropa algo desgarrada y un cinturón con herramientas.

First I started with the drawing, I wanted to make a strong and well delineated body, but also an imposing pose, so I chose to draw her with her arms crossed and with a reteadora smile on her face and I really liked the result, then I proceeded to draw her outfit composed of a somewhat torn clothes and a belt with tools.

A continuación procedí a colocar la base de color, para ello tome como referencias de color de la imagen original y coloque cada color en una capa diferente para poder colorear más cómodamente.

Then I proceeded to place the color base, for this I took the color references from the original image and placed each color in a different layer to be able to color more comfortably.

Luego comencé colocar los tonos de sombras y luces en la piel del personaje, en primer lugar coloque los tonos y luego usando un pincel de blur comencé a difuminar los colores para crear u a textura suave en su piel, luego procedí a hacer el mismo procedimiento en el resto de su vestuario.

Then I started to place the shadows and highlights on the character's skin, first I placed the shades and then using a blur brush I started to blur the colors to create a soft texture on her skin, then I proceeded to do the same procedure on the rest of her costume.

Luego procedí a definir el cabello, peri no termino de agradarme el cabello flotando, creo que porque a diferencia del personaje original el que dibuje no parecía estar bajo el agua, así que decidí hacerlo liso pegado a su cabeza como si estuviera aún húmedo, y me gusto mucho más de este modo.

Then I proceeded to define the hair, but I didn't like the floating hair, I think because unlike the original character, the one I drew didn't seem to be under water, so I decided to make it straight, sticking to his head as if it was still wet, and I liked it much better this way.

Y este ha sido el resultado final de este personaje, me gusto mucho como resulto, su actitud y pose en general, espero que también sea del agrado de todos!

And this has been the final result of this character, I really liked how it turned out, his attitude and pose in general, I hope everyone likes it too!
