Hola la comunidad Splinterlanders en especial aquellos que apenas están iniciando en el mundo de internet, con el tema de la semana está enfocado a algunos tips para aquellos que están iniciando en este juego, hoy quiero hablar sobre un tema bastante importante en el cual incluso me siento muy identificado, ya que hace unos años tristemente por descuido me deshice algo bastante importante que son las claves de Hive.

Ustedes saben que Hive contiene unas 5 claves para poder procesar en ciertos niveles las transacciones que se hacen dentro de la cadena de bloques, cada una de estas tienen su especialidad o características que la hacen una más poderosa que el anterior; sin embargo, perderlas todas es prácticamente destruir la cuenta de Hive para siempre.

Hace un tiempo recuerdo que hable de este tema, pero para hacer lo contrario, ya que tenía un set de cartas de la colección untamed, la cual las había enviado erróneamente a la cuenta de steemmonsters, de esta forma tú podrías obtener tus paquetes de cartas, puesto que estoy hablando de algo que se hacía manualmente actualmente ya eso no se hace, sino que de una vez es automatizado por el juego, pero anteriormente se hacía de forma manual para poder recibir tus paquetes dentro de tu cuenta de splinterlands o Hive y así poder abrir paquetes de cartas.

No sé qué me pasó o fue por un error de tipeo, pero tristemente escribí el nombre de steemmonsters de una manera errónea (@steemmonters) olvidando una letra y así lo envié a una cuenta que no existía dentro de la cadena de bloques, en ese momento decidí, ya que esta cuenta no existe, pues vamos a crearla y así fue, para poder recuperar ese paquete de cartas; sin embargo, con el pasar del tiempo me olvidé esa cuenta y ni siquiera le cree algo para advertir alguno de los jugadores ni nada por el hecho de que simplemente pensé que era un error mío y pues no le ocurriría a nadie, recuerda que un día me escribieron dos personas preguntándome sobre esa cuenta algo que me parecía bastante extraño, puesto que tenía bastante tiempo que no accedía y la había olvidado, sin embargo, al revisarla veo que hay unas tierras, unos paquetes y unos Hive, al yo ver esto me sorprendió mucho la cantidad de tokens sobre splinterlands que había en esta cuenta.

Ya al verificar todo esto supuse, esa cuenta la debo tener guardada en algún lugar, busqué dentro del computador donde supuestamente tenía guardada las llaves y no tenía nada que me diera acceso a esa cuenta, recuerdo que la cree en enero del año 2020, pero haciendo memoria no tengo idea en ue computador lo cree ni en cuál de todos mis discos duros están las llaves de esa cuenta.

Tristemente, para el momento en el que me preguntaron sobre esos tokens les tuve que decir que ni siquiera yo tengo acceso a esa cuenta y que me disculpara por no poderle reenviar sus tokens, ya que al no poder acceder de ninguna forma tiene aproximadamente unos 3 años sin hacer ningún movimiento dentro de la blockchain debido a eso, en alguna parte de mi computador debe estar, he buscado esas llaves muchísimas veces para por lo menos regresar esos tokens reporte a splinterlands sí sobre esta cuenta, pero hasta ahora no he podido dar con las llaves.

El mejor tip que te puede dar alguien cuando tienes poca o casi nula experiencia en temas de tecnología blockchain, es que si pierdes tus llaves no puedes recuperar no, los está hablando de un banco o algún tercero que te puede hacer una recuperación de datos, sino de data pura que puede ser solamente manejada por ti, lo más recomendable para estos casos es tener un respaldo escrito en algún dispositivo que no tenga acceso a internet o los famosos dispositivos físico o frías, llamados trezor o ledger, solo uno de estos puede ser utilizado dentro de la blockchain de Hive (Ledger).

Existen muchísimos casos de pérdidas de tokens y criptomonedas alrededor del mundo, nunca creí que me pasaría algo así, sin embargo, aquí una prueba de esto, al menos no fue mi cuenta principal con algo de más valor, pero la mejor recomendación es buscar maneras de resguardar sus activos a través del resguardo de sus llaves de cualquier cadena de bloques, no solamente de Hive, esto para que en un futuro no pierden absolutamente nada y tengan mayor tranquilidad mientras simplemente están jugando una partida.

I remember talking about this topic a while ago, but to do the opposite, since I had a set of cards from the untamed collection, which I had sent to the steemmonsters account by mistake, so that you could get your card packs, since I'm talking about something that was done manually, now it's not, but it's automated by the game, but previously it was done manually to be able to receive your packages within your splinterlands or Hive account and thus be able to open card packs.

I already checked all this and assumed that I must have that account saved somewhere. I looked inside the computer where I supposedly had the keys saved and I had nothing that would give me access to that account. I remember creating it in January 2020, but from memory I have no idea on which computer I created it or on which of my hard drives the keys to that account are.

Sadly, by the time they asked me about those tokens, I had to tell them that I don't even have access to that account and that I was sorry I couldn't resend their tokens, since I can't access it in any way, it has been approximately 3 years without any movement within the blockchain due to that. Somewhere in my computer it must be, I have looked for those keys many times to at least return those tokens to splinterlands if I report this account, but so far I have not been able to find the keys.

The best tip that someone can give you when you have little or almost no experience in blockchain technology matters, is that if you lose your keys you can't recover them, they are talking about a bank or some third party that can do a data recovery for you, but rather of pure data that can only be handled by you, the most recommended for these cases is to have a backup written on a device that does not have internet access or the famous physical or cold devices, called trezor or ledger, only one of these can be used within the Hive blockchain (Ledger).

There are many cases of loss of tokens and cryptocurrencies around the world, I never thought something like this would happen to me, however, here is a proof of this, at least it was not my main account with something more valuable, but the best recommendation is to look for ways to protect your assets through the protection of your keys from any blockchain, not just Hive, this so that in the future you don't lose absolutely anything and have more peace of mind while you are simply playing a game.
