The $1M Mistake💸 How I Lost My Crypto to a Sneaky Hacker🔒 My Binance Nightmare😱 How I Got Hacked and Trapped the Hacker

(Edited)

The story I am going to tell you today is about an account that was hacked. That account was mine. I created an account on Binance about eight years ago and I worked a little hard on that account and held some assets. Then it happened that on March 27, 2026, my Binance account was hacked. How my Binance account was hacked is still an incomprehensible thing, but how it happened? I also understand what was the mistake that I made and then because of this mistake, my Binance account, my email and my other security devices were hacked. But I understand that if hackers are working like this, then none of us are safe. But if we want to protect ourselves from the hacker's account, then I will tell you about that too and then I will also tell you in detail what were the steps or what were the things that I think caused my Binance account and my other email accounts to be hacked. I had a hacker steal my assets and take them away, so I am writing about it in detail in this article and this is my own experience and you people can also do the same thing so that you can stay safe.

You guys, after reading this article of mine or even before reading this article, a question must have arisen in your mind that this person who is saying that I have been trading on exchange for almost eight years and my account was hacked and all the assets were withdrawn by the hacker, did he not understand at all that his account was hacked or that any other activities or devices were connected to his account? I will tell you all these things, but at the beginning I want to tell you that I had a suspicion or confirmation three to four days ago that my account had been hacked, but what was that mistake, what was the reason that led me to this trap?

Binance account was hacked

First of all, I want to tell you that when my Binance account was hacked and I suspected that my account had been hacked, what were the things that made me suspicious, but despite my suspicions, I kept insisting on my mistake, saying that it might be some error in my browser or that my internet was disconnecting. Because when I came to know or suspected that my account had been hacked or that there was some activity happening on it that was happening without my order, what steps did I take that cleared me that my account had not been hacked, but I had come to know and suspect that there was some unnecessary activity happening in my account that was causing me difficulty. And here I will share those steps or those things with you, what were the reasons that made me suspicious that there was such an order or such an activity happening in my account that was happening without my action, but despite this suspicion, how did I get on the hacker's track? I have told you all these things. I want to tell you because when I fell into the hacker's trap, I should share with you all the things that the hacker took, due to which my suspicion was removed, and then the hacker did his job and stole my assets. Because you all know that hackers attack through pishing links and other methods, I am also sharing with you the major points that cleared my suspicion, but that suspicion was right and hacker took money from my account and left. So what were the steps that the hacker took, due to which my suspicion was removed, but that suspicion was right, but despite that suspicion, I fell into the hacker's trap, so I have to share these things with you because it is very important and very necessary.

my Binance

First of all, I want to tell you that whenever I used to log into my Binance account on my computer, my Binance account would remain logged in for four to five days and I would shut down and close the computer and get busy with my other tasks. Then whenever I used to log into my computer, my Binance account would be logged in. This process continued not for a day, not for a month, but for many years. But one day, it happened that I logged into my Binance account fresh. When I logged into my Binance account, I received a pop-up message after half an hour. In this pop-up message, it was written that you should enter your authenticator code. I got suspicious here that why Binance was asking for my authenticator code because I had just logged in for half an hour and this login would remain for four to five days. But I suspected that there must be something wrong, so I did not give the authenticator code at all and I then got busy with the work that Binance had asked me for so much. Why did you ask for the code so quickly? Because this is an activity that unless a person takes action himself, Binance does not ask for the authenticator code. So when this happened, I tried very hard. The pop-up screen that was there was not going away. So I logged out of Binance. Then I went and checked my email. No email was received. But there was no email here either. The same login details were there that I was logged in. Because I checked that email, I logged in from my IP. I logged in from my computer. And as soon as I log in, I get an email. If I do any transaction or any other change related to security or transaction, I have to add my email, authenticator code, and my mobile code. But at that time, I only got the GA code . So I logged out again. Then I logged in again after about three to four hours.

I logged back into my Binance

When I logged back into my Binance account after three to four hours, I had to add my thenticator code, email code, and mobile code to log in. When I completed these three processes, I was logged in. When I logged in, I thought why that pop-up message came, so I checked my email, checked all the security of my email, and after doing all these checks, I went to my binance account and checked my mobile, checked the thenticator code, checked all the security, and checked my balance. Everything was there as it was. There was no increase or decrease in it, and my Binance account was completely correct looking secure, there was no change in it.

#support team of Binance

When my account was completely clear despite checking the security and devices of Balance, I still contacted the support team of Binance to clear my doubts. There I chatted and told them that when I logged in, I got a pop-up message. This pop-up message was telling me to add the authenticator code. I did not add that code. Please check that there has been no other activity in my account or that someone has logged into my account in any way. They also checked, but I was only reassured that you should set your passkey. But I did not set the passkey because I had a device computer, a PC computer. Because if it is a PC computer, then after two to three months, its windows have to be installed again and again. So I thought that I would not do it now, but I did not do it and there was no issue with the passkey. Thus, when I cleared all the security, all my security was clear and the support team of Binance also reassured me that there was no such activity and if I think that my There is some activity in the account, so I should change my Binance password, so I thought that when the Binance support team has also checked it, why should I change my password or why should I change my email, I was completely satisfied. Then I started my trade and in this way, despite checking all the points, I started trading. While I was trading, I got a pop-up message again after two to three hours and this message said that you should enter your Google Authenticator code. Then I got suspicious that why is it asking me for the authenticator code again, but I did not enter the authenticator code in it and then I did not log in to my Binance account, but logged out and then I got busy with my other household chores.

the second day that I received a pop-up message

Thus, this was the second day that I received a pop-up message but I did not pay attention to it and I did not enter that code. Thus, when I received this pop-up message on the second day and the third day, I checked my email from both sides, Gmail from all sides and despite checking all this, I checked the security of my email, checked the devices and checked everything else that I could think of and then I did not contact the support team again and told them but then I got relief from there and then after this relief I started my trade and I saw that on the third day also the securities in my account are clear in the same way, everything is happening in the same way, it is absolutely fine but then I was engaged in my trade on March 27, 2026 when I received a pop-up message again or I received a pop message so I thought that my security, my emails are also clear, my Google email is also clear, my Binance ID is also clear, there is something like that there If there is no activity, it may be that the internet is disconnected or has happened or it has happened for some other reason. So I did not ignore the pop-up message again because it may be because of the internet disconnection or because of some other browser. But I reassured myself in every way that my security is better and I thought that this last pop-up message that came on the fourth day may be my illusion and it is happening in my browser or due to internet disconnection because nowadays the internet in our country is in a very bad condition, it disconnects again and again, the speed is very low. So I thought that for one thing, I am only getting this authenticator code. I did not get any code on my email or any code on my mobile. So this pop-up is only one of the authenticator, which if I add, no transaction etc. will happen, but as soon as I told myself that this is your illusion. There is no hacker attack because if there was a hacker attack, my email or other or my security etc. would have been breached too but everything is fine so you are delusional. Keeping this delusion in mind, I entered the ATG code. As soon as I entered the authenticator code,

As soon as I entered the Google Authenticator code, keeping the illusion in mind, I received a notification that my account had been compromised. I was surprised to read the message and wonder how all this happened. Despite checking everything, checking the security, checking the email security, contacting the security and sports team of Binance, my account had been compromised and I could not protect myself from the hacker attack. How did all this happen? You must have read all this. One thing is needed to understand all these things. When I suspected that I was receiving a pop-up message, I did not ignore this pop-up message, but I did a regular investigation. What was the investigation? This is the investigation. Should I check my security, contact Binance's support team, check my Binance security devices, check all these things? Despite this, when this happened to me, why did it happen?

First, let's look at how I fell into the hacker's trap.

It has now been confirmed that my account was hacked, but we all know how it happened. We hear this from everyone who has an account. Everyone advises us not to click on any link, not to download any app, not to download any software that we do not know about, whose security we do not know. So I think that I clicked on a link due to which my account was hacked because my account cannot be hacked without any mistake or error. Somewhere or other, I made a mistake and what was that mistake? It must have been that I clicked on an unnecessary or pushing link or some other mistake that I made. 48 hours before this account was hacked, that mistake was that there was a video on my mobile phone. I had downloaded that video from the internet. Then after downloading it from the internet, I watched that video on my computer through a data cable. That means that the video was on my mobile and I connected the data cable to the mobile using a data cable and then I plugged the same data cable into my computer and then I played the video on the computer. I think that when I downloaded this video, it was downloaded with a pushing link or it was downloaded with some viruses that were hacker viruses or there was already a hacker virus inside my mobile and then after connecting this data cable to my computer, that virus entered my computer or the hacker took control of my system through a pishing link. If i say that hacker took control through a link, I had clicked on a link a month ago. I had also fully informed my Hive community about this link, the link of which I am giving here in this article. These two mistakes were made by me. One month ago, I had clicked on a link and it was a hacker link, but after a month, it reacted like this. I think it is not right. That the hacker who attacked me, the virus entered my system through my mobile phone.

But many times before, I used to transfer the videos I recorded from my mobile phone to my computer through a data cable. If something like this had happened, it would have happened earlier if my mobile phone was hacked or having threats file . But there is also the fact that since the video I watched on the computer ,was downloaded from the internet, but before that there was no such thing that I downloaded from the internet and transferred it to my computer, then the fact that my computer was hacked must have happened due to these two reasons. But I had written a complete article about the link that I had clicked on a month ago, I had written a complete description. It is possible that the same link had been active for a month and had been stealing my data and then it took a month for the hacker to hack my system or gain control over my system. So you also have to keep this in mind that when you click on a link even a month ago and you come to know that it was not the right link, then you should pay attention again and be careful. But I thought I had only opened that link and did not enter any data in it, so I thought everything was OK, but since that link was open, when I opened that link, when I clicked on it, a website opened. This website asked me for the Metamask key and was telling me to enter the active key, but I have given its complete details in this article. Now if you click on it, you will get complete details about this . And now these are the two places from where my computer has been hacked. Either it was hacked because of clicking on the link a month ago or the video I watched on my computer through a data cable through my mobile phone. So now this has come to light. Either the HackerKit virus has entered my system from the mobile phone or through this link. So this has been cleared up. Now I will tell you what trick the hacker did. Because of this I was satisfied that my accounts were not hacked.

what trap did the hacker use

The summary of all these things is that what trap did the hacker use that prevented me from knowing that my account had been hacked, even though all the security was clear? The trap was that when the hacker gained control of my email and my recovery email, he did not change the password of my email and recovery email. The reason was that if he had changed it, I had set a two-factor authenticator code on the email and the recovery email. Thus, when he was satisfied, he did not touch any of my security devices. He just continued to read my email. Similarly, when he gained control of my Binance account, he did not change my Binance account either. Changing means that he did not touch the password and security that was the two-factor, but rather his goal was to withdraw my assets from my account. So he did not change any of my security. I did not touch the bridge, but rather, its purpose was to gain access to my account, and so when it showed me a fake pop-up message of withdrawal on my screen, I did not use the authenticator code for three or four days. But when I tried to convince myself for three or four days and everything was getting better, I thought that this could hardly be my illusion, so I entered the code and my money became a withdrawal. In this way, the hacker took the money. This happened for the same reason because when Binance used to send me the withdrawal code on email, that hacker would read the withdrawal code from the email and delete the email, and after deleting it, he would also delete it from the trash. This is the method used by the hacker. I want to say here that whenever you read a pop-up authenticator code message from Binance unnecessarily, you should not pay attention to it at all, but be careful and first change your security password email. What needs to be changed?

One more thing I want to tell you here is that whenever you see a pop-up message on the Binance page unnecessarily and it says that you need to add an authenticator code but you did not need it and it is coming suddenly, then you have to be alerted there and not only check the security of your device, not only check the security of your email address but you also have to change your email password of Binance and if possible, change all these things, your Binance email password, mobile number and when you are changing all these things, your device should also be changed. You should not change these things on the same device from which you are receiving this pop-up message because that device of yours will be under the control of the hacker and if you did all these activities from the same device, then the hacker will get this hidden information of yours, so you have to be careful in this matter too. When you see any such activity, you should You have to change the network and log in from a completely new device. After logging in, you first have to change the security of your wallet, your email, and all these things, especially the wallet's email address, phone number, and password. This is very important. You have to change your device again. Its Windows, all the Windows that are in it, which is the OS, have to be changed and installed new ones. This was the information that I have given you, which is my experience because my accounts have been hacked many times. Now, after being hacked, I share whatever experience I have with my hive community. I hope that this information of mine will be beneficial for you and can protect you from this. If your account is going to be hacked, if it has been hacked, how do you protect it? Thank you very much to all of you. May you all be happy now.

It is very clear that hacker can't hack our wallet/account until and unless we do not co-operate them to do so. They not only hack our wallet they actually hack our mind that we do whatever they want. Thanks for sharing your experiences about it so other's can careful about such suspicious activity.
