Creo que lo que hace que jugar #Splinterlands sea todo un reto son las combinaciones aleatorias de reglas de batalla, y esta es una regla de batalla con la cual nunca me ha gustado jugar.

Bienvenido nuevamente a un post explicativo donde verás a detalle una de mis más recientes batallas usando una habilidad en específico, aunque de igual forma gane la batalla, siento que es una regla complicada.

I think what makes playing #Splinterlands challenging is the random combinations of battle rules, and this is one battle rule I've never liked playing with.

Welcome back to an explanatory post where you'll see in detail one of my most recent battles using a specific ability, even though I still won the battle, I feel it's a tricky rule.

Esta regla hace que no podamos hacer uso de cartas con un coste de maná superior a los 4.

Esto complica las cosas, pues la gran mayoría de cartas con buen poder son cartas con un coste de maná elevado, y en esta batalla que hoy les muestro verán esta regla en práctica.

This rule means that we cannot use cards with a mana cost higher than 4 mana.

This complicates things, because the vast majority of cards with good power are cards with a high mana cost, and in this battle that I show you today you will see this rule in practice.

THADDIUS BROOD es el nombre del invocador que use para dar este ejemplo.

Este es un invocador del equipo muerte que resta -1 de vida y -1 de ataque mágico a mi oponente.

Y para esta batalla solo teníamos disponibles los elementos vida y muerte.

Si te fijas en mi formación de batalla puedes ver que todas las cartas no tienen un buen poder de ataque, pero decidí enfocar más mi estrategia a no usar cartas poderosas pero sí útiles.

Ya que la condición de batalla no me lo permite, pues uso cartas con menos de 4 de maná, pero cada una de ellas con una habilidad específica que me estará ayudando a quedarme con la victoria.

If you look at my battle formation you can see that all the cards don't have a good attack power, but I decided to focus my strategy more on not using powerful but useful cards.

Since the battle condition doesn't allow me to do so, I use cards with less than 4 mana, but each of them with a specific ability that will be helping me to get the victory.

Mi carta tanque es Riftwing, una carta con la habilidad voladora y carroñero.

Gracias a esta habilidad logro aumentar un poco su vida con la muerte de cada carta en combate.

Esta carta tiene un gasto de maná de solo 4, y la veo muy útil.

My tank card is Riftwing, a card with the flying and scavenger ability.

Thanks to this ability I manage to increase a little his life with the death of each card in combat.

This card has a mana cost of only 4, and I find it very useful.

Acá pueden ver tres de mis cartas de apoyo.

Cada una con una habilidad muy importante en el desempeño de la batalla.

En la segunda fila tenemos una carta con la habilidad martir, una habilidad que da aumento a las cartas cercanas al momento de morir.

También tengo una carta con la habilidad vampirismo, ella estará aumentando su vida con cada uno de sus ataques mágico a mi oponente.

También tengo una carta de ataque mágico con la habilidad aturdir, esto lo hago para intentar hacer que mi rival pierda turnos de ataque y así poder tener una ventaja considerable.

In the second row we have a card with the martyr ability, an ability that gives a boost to nearby cards when they die.

I also have a card with the vampirism ability, she will be increasing her life with each of her magic attacks to my opponent.

I also have a magic attack card with the stun ability, I do this to try to make my opponent lose attack turns so I can have a considerable advantage.

En las últimas dos posiciones he colocado una carta con la habilidad de dar armadura a mis cartas.

Esta armadura fue muy útil, además de eso también coloqué una carta para reducir su velocidad y así hacer que algunos de sus ataques fallaran.

In the last two positions I placed a card with the ability to give armor to my cards.

La carta principal de mi rival tenia +1 de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, y comparado a mi carta principal me superaba en ataque, pero no me supera en vida ni en velocidad.

Esto es bueno, pues gracias a la habilidad especial de mi carta, la habilidad carroñero le estará dando aumento de vida en cada ronda donde mueran las cartas de ambos equipos.

My opponent's main card had +1 melee attack, and compared to my main card, it surpassed me in attack, but it did not surpass me in life or speed.

This is good, because thanks to the special ability of my card, the scavenger ability will be giving him life increase in each round where the cards of both teams die.

Aunque mi rival también pensó muy bien su jugada.

Pues en su formación incluyo una carta con la habilidad de reparación de armadura, esto le estaría regenerando la armadura a su carta principal.

Peor esto no funciono muy bien, pues mis ataques eran directos a la vida, así que de igual forma ese escudo no me afecto.

Además, también está haciendo uso de una carta con la habilidad Sneak, y esta carta estará haciendo ataques a la carta que está en mi última posición.

Algo que destaca en su formación es que está usando una carta con la habilidad de curación.

Yo no cuento con una carta que me esté regenerando vida, pero aun así no fue mucho lo que me afecto, pero si es un punto muy importante destacar, pues creo que si yo no usaba una carta con armadura y la habilidad aturdir, estaba batalla, la hubiese perdido por completo.

Something that stands out in his formation is that he is using a card with the healing ability.

I don't have a card that is regenerating life, but even so it didn't affect me much, but it is a very important point to highlight, because I think that if I didn't use a card with armor and the ability to stun, I would have lost the battle completely.

A mitad de la segunda ronda mi carta principal ya había muerto, y parecía que no tendría oportunidad, pues ya no tenía una carta tanque.

Pero mi segunda carta con la habilidad mártir me ayudaría al momento de morir, pues le estaría dando aumento de estadísticas a mi segunda carta con ataque mágico.

Halfway through the second round my main card had already died, and it seemed that I would not have a chance, as I no longer had a tank card.

Cuando vi el aumento de estadísticas de mi carta ya me relaje un poco, pues sabia que con el apoyo de mi carta con habilidad aturdir podía tener la victoria.

Es importante entender eso, pues las cartas funcionan muy bien con la combinación de habilidades específicas.

Mientras mi carta que ahora está en primera línea resiste, mi carta de segunda línea estará dando ataques para aturdir a mi rival y hacer que pierda sus turnos de ataque.

When I saw the increase in stats of my card I relaxed a little, because I knew that with the support of my card with stun ability I could have the victory.

It is important to understand that, because the cards work very well with the combination of specific abilities.

While my card that is now in the first line is resisting, my second line card will be giving attacks to stun my opponent and make him lose his attack turns.

La batalla en general fue muy buena.

Como dije al inicio, me enfoque más en hacer uso de cartas con habilidades buenas y no de poder, pues la regla no me lo permitía.

Sigo pensando en que si no usaba la carta que otorgo armadura, el resultado de la batalla hubiese sido distinto.
