My experience with DEC: Are we seeing a lot of bot trading on STEEM-Engine? | Over 30% price hike in minutes!

  • I've got few STEEM left and I thought of exchanging them for DEC to buy some Untamed Packs.
  • The Buy orders were around 0.00280 and Sell oders were at 0.00301
  • I placed a small order at 0.00299 and suddenly there's a Buy order above mine.
  • Few minutes later DEC is going for 0.00375

Do normal sane people even trade like this?

I missed out on some great opportunity to buy Untamed packs for over 40% off. But it was also a new experience for me as a trader.
