First I made a quick sketch with a white charcoal pencil, then I began to paint the fins that are on the head. Using yellow, orange, light brown colors and mixing them with white, so I could obtain the light parts and the shaded parts.

After I finished with the head area I continued with the arm, chest and torso in general. Here I made a mix between ocher, orange, yellow and scarlet red colors to achieve a tone more consistent with the monster's skin. Then for the spots I used a dark green, dark blue and also white and light green to make the spots, give light to the muscles and try to achieve a raised appearance.

I painted the part of the tail and the arm in the same way as the previous process. Using green as the base color for the spots and adding dark shades of blue and white. For the part of the abdomen with soft strokes I put orange as a base, then a little stronger and looser contractions I put ocher and light brown to make the part darkened and to see the contrast with the illuminated part. These colors, being of a very soft tip, allow you to easily achieve interesting mixtures.

This is how the final work has been, I think that if I had added a shadow on the ground part, it would have achieved a 3D effect. I hope you liked my contribution. If you like, you can comment and tell me how it seemed to you. I say goodbye wishing you are very well. Bye.
