Saludos querida comunidad, hoy comparto con ustedes mi participación en el Splinterlands Art Contest, para el cual realicé un collar en macramé con la imagen de la carta Arena Fanatic, esta es una carta de tipo neutral cuyo poder es la amplificación tanto del daño como de la defensa, su aspecto me pareció muy genial porque me recuerda a un vikingo a un bárbaro, espero les guste 😊

Greetings dear community, today I'm sharing my entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest, for which I created a macrame necklace featuring the Arena Fanatic card. This is a neutral card whose power is to amplify both damage and defense. I thought its design was really cool because it reminds me of a Viking or a barbarian. I hope you like it! 😊

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico: beige, blanco, blanco hueso, marrón oscuro, marrón medio, gris claro, gris oscuro, amarillo, rojo, negro.
• Cordón de hilo chino
• Tabla
• Regla
• Tijera
• 2 pinzas para ropa
• Patrón

• Acrylic yarn: beige, white, off-white, dark brown, medium brown, light gray, dark gray, yellow, red, black
• Chinese thread cord
• Cutting board

Patrón / Pattern

Para elaborar el patrón por supuesto usé como referencia la imagen de la carta, luego en la aplicación Pixel Station creé un lienzo de 21 x 25 cuadros, con las herramientas pincel y bote de pintura pinté cada cuadro de la imagen usando el selector de color. Posteriormente agregué los números editando la imagen en la aplicación Inshot.

To create the pattern, I used the card image as a reference. Then, in the Pixel Station app, I created a 21 x 25 square canvas. Using the brush and paint bucket tools, I painted each square of the image with the color picker. Afterward, I added the numbers by editing the image in the InShot app.

Proceso / Proceso

Del cordón de hilo chino corté una hebra de 70 cm, tomé un extremo he hice un nudo corredizo envolviendo el extremo opuesto, hice los mismo con el otro extremo, de este modo quedó el collar ajustable.

From the Chinese thread cord I cut a 70 cm strand, took one end and made a sliding knot wrapping the opposite end, I did the same with the other end, thus the adjustable necklace was formed.

Con el collar rodee la tabla. Con el hilo beige corté 10 hebras de 30cm y una hebra adicional unida al ovillo, tomé las hebras por la mitad y las anudé al centro del collar como se muestra en las imágenes, dejando la primera hebra a la izquierda unida al ovillo. Obtuve de ese modo los 21 hilos guía y el hilo anudador del color de fondo beige.

I wrapped the necklace around the board. With the beige yarn, I cut 10 strands of 30cm each and an additional strand attached to the ball. I took the strands in the middle and knotted them at the center of the necklace as shown in the pictures, leaving the first strand on the left attached to the ball. In this way, I obtained the 21 guide strands and the beige background knotting thread.

Los nudos se hacen siguiendo el patrón, en esta técnica los hilos anudadores envuelven dos veces cada uno de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en las hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares, los hilos anudadores se agregan cuando se necesite el color y se cruzan por detrás cuando se cambia de color.

The knots are made following the pattern; in this technique, the knotting threads wrap twice around each of the guide threads, from left to right in the odd rows and from right to left in the even rows. The knotting threads are added when color is needed and are crossed behind when changing color.

Al finalizar los nudos, separé en 4 partes los hilos guía e hice 4 nudos, corté para emparejar y hacer flecos, corté y escondí los hilos anudadores por detrás.

After finishing the knots, I separated the guide threads into 4 parts and made 4 knots, cut to even them out and make fringes, cut and hid the knotting threads behind.
