what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I want to share my battle using my scholar account so that mean the battle is in Diamond Modern Format League.Before i am sharing this battle mage challenge, i will share my thought about the new update in Splinterlands. Now the level cap from novice league until champ league gone. It would make we can encountered with max level summoner and monster in silver league. That is very chaotic in my opinion. It feels like the dev is very lazy to separate and then just placing in one pool. And i don't know about the others. But, fromt he first start update from Dev is never gives real player benefit at all. Back again this is just my opinion, since i am just regulare player that not having injected any capital in this game. So, feel free to think anything about me. This game is addressed to whale player that owned everything or bot or cheater player that having almost 80-90% win rate. And regular player like me get eliminated slowly. I dont know what dev thinking, i think the problem is very easy to get rid it just the cheater or the bot user that farming the token. It should be just get rid of them right, not turning around doing something that not realted with the problem. If you do that all the time, i think the game will be meet the end, many player got expelled slowly and then no new player turn in. So, in the end who get the benefit?
Real Player? Or human that create bot developer?
Please consider it really carefully.
So, back to the challenge, today i want to sharing to you guys that in this games, completed deck is very neccessary. Because if you missing just one piece even though the common card, it will make the outcome of the battle will be different. So lets check out what the card it is. But before entering the strategy phase, it is good that we know the main ruleset first.

Okay since you guys know that the ruleset is Broken Arrows lets knowing this ruleset a little bit deeper.This ruleset description is

All unit start with the same health, based on the highest health on either team.Buffs and debuffs are done afterward - this impacts base health.

So, with this ruleset we really need to utilize the low mana cost monster with low health but having great ability. Not only for the support monster but also for the attacker monster too. And in modern format, because the choice of the cards is really narrow. And what most effect is RNG and you know what, i am really a mortal enemy to RNG. This RNG is never befriended with me. Thats why i am losing so much in this game.

Strategy Phase

As you can see in the picture above this battle have 3 ruleset, the first ruleset is Equalizer that is All unit start with the same health, based on the highest health on either team.Buffs and debuffs are done afterward - this impacts base health. The second ruleset is Tis But Scratches that means all monster units will having cripple ability that can reduce the max health when get touched, the last is new ruleset that is Blood and Sunder that means all monster units will having Corrosive Ward ability that can make the attacking monster will losing the armor. The manacap in this battle is just 15 and once again it will be the battle of low mana monster. The element that cannot be used this time is Water and Earth element. So the choice will be either Fire,Dragon,or Life element i guess. Because the rest is having a little monster low manacost units with sneak ability. And in this battle i am using what the best units in my deck that delegated to me. Lets check the strategy in the table below

	Summoner	-1 Speed -1 Range Attack	I am using Quix in this battle because it will adding more choices to make than just normal element because when choosing dragon element it can choosing one other element again, Thats why i am choosing this summoner. Not only that Quix have 1 speed reduction that can make my team faster than opponent just by calculating the summoner ability.
	Frontline Tanker		This monster is pretty good as a frontline tanker when comes using low manacost monster units, because this monster having pretty complete ability to be defender with dodge ability that make this monster having 20% chance to dodge opponent range and melee attack monster, and Phase ability that can make this monster have 20% chance to dodge magic attack type. And if this monster dodging it, it will make opponent will have back attack due the Backfire ability that every missing attack will make the attacker got 2 damage.
	Buff Filler		I am using this monster as a filler that can gives speed buff to all my team mates. And this monster can be a second tanker if my frontline tanker defeated. But i hope that my frontline tanker can holding until my team win.
	Support Attacker		Dax Paragon is monster units that having affliction ability that can make opponent cannot heal if this monster hit opponent, also this monster having amplify ability that can increase the damage from magic reflect that my chaos agent ability backfire.
	Attacker		I am using this monster because this monster having true strike ability that cannot be missing every attack. Also this monster having flying ability that can adding chance to dodge opponent range or melee attack. And because the Equalizer ruleset, it will attacking opponent in front usually because opponent will having same health too. But, if opponent in backline got damaged first this monster will attack monster that having lowest health in opponent line up.
	Support		I am bringing Spirit Hoarder because this monster having pretty good ability that can challenge my luck for RNG even though i know that will be very useless if i am just depending on RNG, the ability is blind that can make opponent have 15% chance to miss attacking my line up, but yeah almost all the battle maybe thousands battle the blind just make me win couple hundrends. Not only that if the opponent using martyr or any buff this monster having dispel ability that can resetting any buff that opponent get. But the only problems is this monster just having 1 speed that will make many miss attacking opponent that having phase ability.
	Back Attacker		I am using Stitch leech on the back because this monster having life leech ability that can adding maximum health after damaging opponent health directly. So, if this monster can succesfully attacking opponent backline this monster will be a great tanker.

So this is my line up hopefully the blind will be effective this time because i am encountered with many many players that using blind ability and it is effective. But i can guess i will be the losing one because yeah RNG is never sided with me. I dont know why.So lets see how the battle going this time.

Battlephase

Okay in this battle i am encountered with the same player in my scholar guild, i dont really know who handle this account, but as far as i know there is many player in Balthazar Guild that pretty good and having great luck. And this time both player using same summoner that is Quix the Devious from dragon element. So lets see how the battle going

Round 1

As usual in round 1 both parties got buff and debuffed from both summoners and monsters in my team got

• 1 Speed debuff from opponent Summoners Quix The Devious ability
• 1 Range attack debuff from opponent Summoners Quix The Devious ability
• 1 Speed buff from my Soul Fiend ability Swiftness

In opponent team got

• 1 Speed debuff from my Summoners Quix The Devious ability
• 1 Range attack debuff from my Summoners Quix The Devious ability.
• 1 Speed buff from opponent Soul Fiend ability Swiftness
• 1 Speed buff from opponent Naga Assassins ability Swiftness

SO, here the difference with opponent line up, Naga Assassins Underated Rare monster from rewards edition in the past when Chaos legion still dominate the battle. And i dont delegating Naga Assassins to this account because yeah i am rental player and dont have any cards to delegated. And this will make my team is far away to reach opponent team especially in speed terms. And with the difference of speed it will make my team attacking second. The second different is Uraeus same rewards card from Chaos edition. So my team lack of sneak monster and lack of speed. But it supposed almost equal due the blind right. But yeah it still not enough. Need my luck more higher than right now.
So the first attack in this round is opponent Naga Assassins attacking my Chaos Agent following by opponent Uraeus attacking my Stitch leech, and then opponent Celestial Harpy defeated my Stitch Leech, This is why the speed can determined the winner. And see, blind did not function for opponent. Once again blind did not gives any effects at all. Then my Celestial Harpy attacking opponent Chaos Agent and then opponent Stich Leech attacking my Spirit Hoarder. And yeah my luck is always running out. Both my Dax Paragon and Spirit Hoarder missing attacking opponent Chaos Agents, See, look at how much the speed different justr 3 and 4 speed different but i am the missing one, Opponent having blind effect but still can hit. This is why luck is very useful in this gameplay.

Round 2

After seeing the battle in round 1, i can guess that this battle i will be the losing one. No effect can be used for my team. LOL. thats odd and very funny. In round 2 opponent Naga Assassins attacking first and finally missing attacking my Chaos Agent.and got back attack. Then opponent Uraeus defeated my Spirit Hoarder, and then opponent Celestial Harpy attacking my Dax Paragon, then my Celestial Harpy attacking opponent Chaos Agent. Then opponent Stitch Leech hitting my Celestial Harpy. Then once again my Dax Paragon missing attacking Chaos Agent and defeated by the backfire ability.

Round 3

In round 3 okay once again Naga Assassins missing attacking my Chaos Agent but, really it is too late. my Whole team is destroyed. and yet opponent Naga Assassins still not defeated. Then opponent Uraeus defeated my Celestial Harpy and then opponent Celestial Harpy attacking my Chaos Agent and then the last movement is opponent Stitch Leech attacking my Soul Fiend.
Yeah in the next round my whole team is depleted.

Round 4

And in round 4 first attacker still goes to Naga Assassins attacking my Chaos Agent, then opponent Uraeus defeated my Soul Fiend,then in the end opponent Celestial Harpy attacking my Chaos Agent and defeated it.

Yeah i know that my strategy is not good either due lack of cards that i have. But, still the RNG is not pretty fair i think. For you information 4 of 10 battle that i have is lost because the RNG is not fair at all. Thats why i still believe there are cheater out there. Or maybe i am really given by The Unlucky Person. I dont know either.

Conclution

After experiencing this battle i can say that the completed your dec then the higher chance you can win every battle, since you can have many option that having many abilities to make your strategy to work. Especially when the battle is the high mana cost battle or low mana cost battle. With just small different it will make the big outcome like in this battle, just because Naga Assassins that having swiftness it will make different outcome because the speed different can make your team attacking first and make opponent team units die first before can attack. And my advice don't ever underestimated the underated cards, sometimes the underated cards is the key to winning the battle. But, Of course the overpowered meta cards is better. So, lets start collecting all cards in this game. And be ready with the battle royale from low league until champ league. Since there no summoner cap again after the update.
