Each week I ask you guys a question and you have to answer to win the card. I always read them all but don't always reply. You have to answer the question or you won't be in the draw. I don't care what you say but it has to be an answer that makes sense. Trying to avoid bots.

Alright guys this is pretty unreal. Yes SPS went ay up to .90 cents or more and then dropped and is now sitting in the range a lot of us thought about .20 to .30. If that held I think most old-school players would be happy. But something doesn't quite jive with the SPS price and that is everything else going up. The land is way up. Cards are way up. DEC Is back down a bit but still way over the peg. I am not sure what else is going to happen but this is a lot of fun to be a part of. I will keep all my sps. I can see this token one day at a much high number. I also want to be able to get a lot of the next set in the presale so I hope to be in the top tier of staking.
Now for what most of you want to know. What card can you win this week?
The Temple Priest is a nice magic option for the life team and it is a rare card they are going up.

I think Splinterlands is positioning itself to have a long lasting impact on the NFT gaming space. I imagine that land gameplay and Chaos Legion will both increase the Splinterlands community even more
As soon as I discovered Splinterlands and began playing I can see the potential it has. It's well positioned to do well long term, with growing popularity and newcomers discovering us everyday it will only be a matter of time before Splinterlands takes over the play to earn space! Love that fact that there are already competitive tournaments happening around Splinterlands and the events are broadcasted...lots of good things happening right now!
With the prices going up it makes me think again and again if this is happening for real. The account value bumped like 5x since July.
SPS drop income is cherry on top.

For starters I think the numbers going up is inflating demand on even rental cards. This week I've had 3 cards yanked out from under me so they could raise the prices. That's one issue. Another is, the reason DEC is going down so little compared to SPS. DEC/pack/land markets are going to be cut-throat with the influx of people wanting the "free SPS" from the airdrops rather than buying them. Meanwhile since fewer people are buying, it's easier for those with bots and or a fair amount of resources to crash the SPS market, so they can buy more and more cheaper and cheaper. The bigger the influx, the more this will all multiply.

I rented this card for my water deck and the loan is coming to an end, so it is a perfect gift.

I saw the increasing numbers and had some bad experiences with it :D like surrendering matches I was never able to enter, but then I hope it is not only a short-lived pump, but a real growth of the games playerbase @jdike
It makes me happy. My investment has flown through the roof.
It makes me think that we could make a living off Splinterlands in the near future. With the amount of developments and the increase in prices. This could happen @jmehta

I think player count exploding has coincided with card prices rocketing too - but this might lead to some newer players being priced out and quitting before chaos legion drops so we aren't retaining them

The Splinterlands have a pretty low entry threshold, but at the same time, quite good depth and replayability so here are to it. The greater games were made this way. It's easy to jump in, to learn and to dive into the process
I think this is really good.
I think that the SPS token, in position with the games long history, out of print cards, and constant commitment to updating and empowering its playerbased
Paired with the Land, Brawl, and Chaos Legion updates
is a recipe for one of the biggest periods of growth for any blockchain game in a while, created entirely by the development of said game, instead of outside manipulation or trends.
I definitely saw the numbers go up but I expected a severe dropoff shortly there after, in regards to SPS. In regards to DEC and card value I really dont know what to expect. With an influx of new players I cant see those numbers coming down soon or quickly. On the other hand, DICE packs feel way over priced and a couple hundred dollars for a single legendary summoner will surely price out a lot of the new players.
I think its a bonus. I love the game and everything that come along with it is just a bonus to me :D
It's all still bewildering to me. I am just getting my head around wallets and DEC... not ready to navigate SPS. For now I'm just staking the few I have to get more... since I don't know what I'd use them for anyway. Got a more basic intro to what SPS can be used for? Thanks. @squishna

i think Splinterlands will be here to stay, and will definitely grow in popularity along with crypto
In my opinion, Splinterlands will get saturated and the people that have been involved a long time will have a significant advantage compared to new players. Cool that you are doing this. Please sign me up.

is a pretty fun game, and very good, it should got up because people are spending more time looking to get some piece of the cake
