⚡️SPLINTERLANDS: MY FAVOURITE ABILITY BASED FOCUS , SPS CHALLENGE & EOS REWARDS ⚡️

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to another Splinterlands Social Media Challenge week. I truly hope you are all having fun and progressing through the leagues. How fast the days fly by, It's the End of a glorious Season, the competition was fierce on this last day.
The past 2 week has been extremely interesting. There's been alot of updates to the game, starting from the Rewarding of SPS Stakers with amazing card called VRUZ of which I managed to get 8 copies, to the announcement and implementation of new Energy System which I find beneficial for so many reasons. These New changes has greatly impacted game play, for bot farms bitter, while for us players sweet with a little sour taste cause I'm burning way too much DEC to keep up😂.
It's true that Splinterlands mainly encourages players to try out various strategies; I have been doing that for weeks now, and it's a rewarding experience because I keep learning new cards, their abilities, and how to best engage them in battle. This post isn't about rule sets but something I noticed I thoroughly enjoyed, which has now become my favorite. It is the ability-based focus we players are given daily to put our skills to the test. I will introduce you to this ability, but it is good to note that down this post I have shared what I pulled from my End of Season [EOS] reward chest and my journey on staked SPS challenge.
IMPAIR: DAILY ABILITY FOCUS
IMPAIR: DAILY ABILITY FOCUS
The IMPAIR ability is a daily focus consisting of other abilities that reduce enemy monster damage.
This truly is my favorite and I'm always excited to have it as my focus, especially with Water and Death deck splinters fully stocked up.
The good news with this ability is that you can adapt these debuffs based on your opponent's match history and the allowed rulesets. My approach to IMPAIR is that, I have to pay attention and adjust card strategy based on my team's weaknesses or what I believe the enemy's attacking skill will be.

There are Monsters and Summoners with these effects, such as from the water splinter summoner Lir Deepswimmer who gives all team monsters the Blind ability before start of battle.

If you watched my battle, you'd notice from my Lineup that I made sure to engage monsters that supported the IMPAIR ABILITY FOCUS, which are BLIND given by Lir Deepswimmer. Next DEMORALIZE given by Phantom of the Abyss, and SILENCE given by Ruler of the seas. These abilities helped me master and dominate my enemy, even when enemy came at me with the Kraken, they didn't stand a chance against my lineup.
Also, I earned more Focus points which is important if you are after the chest loot. All in all, I definitely like this team of monsters and look forward to keep engaging them. Before now, I had no idea how powerful LIR DEEPSWIMMER was and the abilities of the other monsters when the IMPAIR Ability focus was concerned. Good to note that a Level 4 TORRENT FIEND gives the Headwind ability, maybe great to add that without Seas Genie, all the same I am glad my strategy worked⚔️VICTORY!!!

BUYING AND STAKING SPS CHALLENGE
BUYING AND STAKING SPS CHALLENGEIt has been huge step for me since I challenged myself to grow on Splinterlands. Started with less than 1,391.20 staked SPS a month ago, I told myself that I could do better in subsequent seasons and would be comparing each season's growth, in a way it's a trick to keep me going.
Yass Finally hit the 10,000+ staked SPS. I earned pretty good from Ranked, Brawl, DQ & EOS Chest, which brings me to an exact sum of 11,543.965 Staked SPS🎉. I believe I've achieved an amazing milestone and performed way better than previous seasons.
The plan is simple, aside from the SPS I earn via Ranked battles, Brawls, the Daily chest, the Season chest and now Brawls. I had adopted Mr. Alok Kumar's advice to purchase and stake atleast 100 SPS every week.
I also get to earn awesome tokens like #SPT on post which I can trade for SPS and immediately stake. I am super comfortable doing this every week, hopefully I am making the right decisions here.

END OF SEASON REWARD CHEST
END OF SEASON REWARD CHESTSplinterlands is such a rewarding game, and, for every battle won you earn chest which could contain random rewards like Cards, Splintershards, Potions and Merits. I was able to grind 125 Gold chest last season. I got to Pull 4 Chaos legion pack, adding to the numbers, that's very nice. 2 copies Epic regular-foil WILL-O-WISP*, a Level 2 gold-foil VENARI MARKSRAT, 116.4 more SPS, 689 merits and other regular cards in multiple copies for leveling up.
This time I a so pleased with this pull mainly for the packs and SPS.
I also tried all I could to finish in the top 55 on the leaderboard and I made it right at that threshold. All in all, it's been an amazing season for me at Splinterlands🎉🔥
