Hello lovely Hive people and #splinterlands crew, hope you have a beautiful day. Today I present another character of the #splinterlands game:

Even though it is one of the most skilled Dark Sorcerers in all the Splinterlands, the Darkest Mage still does not have the full trust of the Lord of Darkness. The Mage has never betrayed the him in any way, but the Dark Lord claims to be able to see the “true state” of the Mage’s soul. The activities of the Darkest Mage are always supervised by a specialized team of Skeleton Keepers, who the Darkest Mage refers to as its “jailors.”

behind the scenes

• The drawing is created first on my Huawei P30 smartphone.

• I used the drawing app: ibisPaint X, a simple app to draw.

• It took me ~ 6 hours. I did it with my hand, fingers. I was slow this time, don't know why. Anyway, time is relativ, so Einstein said, right?

• after I used photoshop to edit a bit the lines, a bit of the color, shadowing, light and the gif.

about my character choice

Why did I choose this character? To be honest, when I saw the original picture I immediately thought of that old He-Man series, there was such a character, I think his name was Orka or Okra or something like that. This one looked very similar to the Darkest Mage. So I chose this #splinterlands character, because old childhood memories were awakened.

But I didn't want to draw him like that. No, no, no! I wanted to finally have a #female variation of it, one where you can see the face, but which has the style of the #darkestMage. Instead of the blue color style I have chosen red. Why this again? Well, because of the He-Man character Orka / Okra (what was his name now? I do not remember exactly, sorry.)

I hope you like my very own interpretation of the Darkest Mage.
