The State of Splinterlands
I always like to start these posts with a general view of how the game is doing. Splinterlands right now for me is somewhat of a dilemma as the rewards and earnings are great but the game itself lost all enjoyment and feels like a daily task. The Pay2Win factor is just way too extreme with very little of it all coming down to skill. I started to play some Tournaments this past week and it's the same thing with this Yodin Zaku card just being ridiculously overpowered. There is also no indication whatsoever that work is being done to fix the issue (Devs don't even see it as a valid problem from what I understand) and the number of users is not really going up. I will keep grinding away at it for 1 more month and think about how to move forward in 2021. With 2 land sales being over, DEC has come down in price again to 0.67$ for 1000 DEC and I expect this to continue with the price of cards to come down with it.
November 1st Collection Value
I still haven't sold any cards yet this year and aim to keep it that way until at least the end of 2020. I started the month of November with a total card collection value of ~1542$. A good part of that value comes from duplicate cards I use to attract new players offering a monthly sign-up deal so it should be able to easily reach the same rankings with a lot less.
Where I deliberately stayed in lower leagues in Oktober, I tested out going for as high of a rank as possible in November. So instead of getting most wins handed out getting matched by players below my card levels, I now was on the other side of the spectrum getting beaten most of the time by players who have way better cards. This made it way more frustrating as it takes a lot longer to complete daily quests with the advantage of getting more daily reward chests. I reverted back with my main account during the 2nd part of the month to a less frustrating experience.
Based on the card values the day they were earned and current 0.00067$ DEC Value, completing the daily quests each day earned around ~40.439$ or an average of 1.35$ a day.
November Reward Cards
The current value of all reward cards I got from the Loot Chests added up to 18.341$ which was very similar to last month.
November Untamed Pack Card Rewards
I managed to get 2 packs reaching one of the top spots that get pack rewards in the League Leaderboards which added up to a total of 5 Untamed Packs last month.
Opening these (with potions) added up to 4.247$

November DEC Earnings
My overall DEC earnings added up to 33382 DEC and it was a small increase compared to last month. The value of 1000 DEC however dropped from 0.00088$ to 0.00067$ right now.

November Affiliate Earnings
I continue to add at least a couple new Affiliates each month as my Referral Link for as far as I know is the most favorable to sign up with for new players. (See Sign-Up Deal). After almost a full year of making these Monthly Results posts showing how much the game potentially earns while offering the best possible sign-up link it has resulted in over 200 Sing-ups with 50+ also getting the Summoner's Spellbook taking me up on the deal. Last month this brought in 32.751$ of Affiliate earnings which I am using to buy more cards to improve what I am able to offer to new players.
Affiliate Promotion Cards
The Splinterlands team continues to run a promotion where everyone who signs up using a referral link will receive 1 random card from the @sl-giveaways account when they buy the 10$ summoner's spellbook. The account from which the referral link was used also receives 1 random card. I had 7 sign-ups that also got the Summoner's Spellbook last month so I received 7 cards along with some affiliate earnings.

I continue to power 100% of the SPT I'm earnings (See Closer Look Into SPT) on the Splintertalk.io platform and I'm leasing it all out to the @monster-curator initiative getting 100% of the curation rewards (See Calculated Returns). As long as the price is below 0.00025$ for 1SP I also continue to buy some more adding to my stack in anticipation for SPT to be integrated into the game some day. Blogging earnings added up to 30220 SPT which equals around 5.74$ at the current price it goes for.
All Blogging earnings combined added up to 36.96$ (this is the net amount after subtracting curation rewards and such)
November Monstermarket Cashback
Buying cards from the market on Monstermarket.io gives 3% cashback instantly paid out in DEC. So I'm earnings some of the affiliate earnings I use to buy more cards back this way which added 668 DEC to my account or 0.45$

Important: Treat games in the first place as games and not as investment opportunities, Splinterlands allows you to earn some money and get good returns but you are generally much better off flipping burgers in Mcdonalds when looking at the money earned for the time invested. It also comes with a risk of card values going down.

Really cool that you break it down this way! Kinda cool that you get paid to play, but maybe not worth it if you feel like it's not fun anymore. Let's see what 2021 brings!

I really liked the combination of enjoying a game while being able to earn something at the same time and seeing big potential in it all. My confidence and enjoyment have taken a big hit as of late though but I'm not willing to throw the towel just yet. Like you say, let's see what next year brings.
Great involvement in the Splinterlands and you've checked all the boxes on the ways you can earn from this. Simply a motivation for others to play this blockchain game and earn quite decently if they put the work. I am at around $200 per month at the moment which I'm comfortable with it.

Congrats on the 200$/month, really solid numbers! These reports have been one of the best ways to spark some interest from new players making them try it out. It is hard to promote it to 'real gamers' who want gameplay with some earnings as a bonus though as the game feels like it has become extreme pay2win with a lot of the fun being taken out of it. I really hope they start focussing more on the fun instead of making it all about the rewards. In the end, new money needs to come in to keep prices up and the overall numbers on active players has been scary flat for a long time now.
