RE: Is now a good time to buy DEC and stack it in the CUB pool?

I've just gotten into splinterlands and though I love the game, I can't understand the crazy card price valuations. I get having a good card to win a battle but paying hundreds (or thousands) of dollars to do that is still a bit wild to me. Regardless I'll continue buying packs for 2000 DEC.
