Lyanna Natura // Decorative Flower Quilling Technique [Eng-Esp]

Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I’m sharing a new piece of art with you. I decided to create a decorative figure inspired by elements of the character “Lyanna Natura”—specifically, the flower that adorns her hair—as a 2D decorative piece using the quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, para hoy decidí realizar una figura decorativa inspirada en elementos del personaje "Lyanna Natura" en este caso la flor que adorna su cabellera como una figura decorativa en 2D en la técnica de quilling.

• Start by taking a 4mm-wide orange ribbon. Using the needle, wind the ribbon around it until you reach the end, then remove it from the needle and loosen it slightly. Secure it with extra-strong white glue to form an open circle. You’ll need 10 identical circles.

• Using the same method as before, we’ll make 5 more open circles that are slightly larger; we’ll shape these into teardrops.

• Comenzamos tomando cinta de color naranja de 4mm de ancho, con la aguja vamos a enrollar hasta llegar al final de la cinta, sacamos de la aguja soltamos un poco, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte, para obtener un círculo abierto. Vamos a necesitar 10 círculos iguales.

• Bajos los mismos parámetros anteriores haremos 5 círculos abiertos más un poco más grandes, estos los vamos a moldear en forma de gotas.

• Take the 10 open circles we made earlier and shape them into half-moons.

• Arrange three pieces to form a petal: one half-moon, one teardrop, and another half-moon. Arrange them as shown in the image and glue them together.

• Once the three pieces are joined, take a 4mm-wide black ribbon and wrap it around each petal; this will make them stand out even more.

• Tomaremos los 10 círculos abiertos que hicimos con anterioridad, y los moldearemos en forma de media lunas.

• Vamos a colocar tres piezas para unirlas y formar el pétalo, una media luna, una gota y otra media luna, las ordenaremos como pueden ver en la imagen y procedemos a pegarlas.

• Unidas las 3 piezas vamos a tomar cinta de color negra de 4mm de ancho, pasaremos alrededor de cada pétalo, de esta manera haremos que resalten aun más.

• Using 3mm-wide red ribbon, make 5 small closed circles.

• Using dark red and lighter red ribbon, make a multicolored closed circle with the darker ribbon on the outside.

• Glue the 5 red circles around the center of the petals, and glue the multicolored circle in the middle.

• And there you have it—this decorative flower, inspired by the character from the card “Lyanna Natura”, is ready.

• Con cinta de color rojo de 3mm de ancho, realizaremos 5 pequeños círculos cerrados.

• Con cinta de color rojo oscuro y uno más claro, realizaremos un círculo cerrado multicolor dejando la cinta más oscura por la parte de afuera.

• Procedemos a pegar los 5 círculos rojos alrededor del centro de los pétalos, y el círculo multicolor lo pegaremos en el medio.

• De esta manera tenemos lista esta flor decorativa, inspirada en el personaje de la carta "Lyanna Natura".
