Scavenging Sunday - September 22 2024
Today I got up at 6am, I couldn't sleep anymore so I played a couple of splinterlands matches and had a coffee until the sun was about to rise, then I went out for my Sunday early morning scavenge hunt on my bicycle, collecting cans and bottles again.
Sunday morning is the best in the week but today broke all records, I collected 59 cans and bottles, worth €8,60 I'll use later to put into my splinterlands account.
This was my loot
For only 15 minutes or so, we had a breath taking sky 😍 but it was soon gone, grey and cloudy again.
On my hunt I enjoy myself, looking for pretty things like this flower that was just growing at the side of a road
Looking out on the bridge is a pretty sight too
Then, after a good hour I went home with three bags full, and had another coffee and breakfast, relaxed a bit and then my daughter and I went for a walk, we always do this when it's not raining.
Just away from the house we saw this pretty butterfly!
We also came across two cute goats
And a funny 'no pooping sign' 🤣

Definitely… Free money!👍😊
Wow, the pictures are beautiful. And cans collecting is good too - you get the money, and nature gets less rubbish.
Exactly, cleaning, being active, free money and being outside 😀
