My Actifit Report Card: May 13 2026

Rower, rower, rower. Wczoraj sobie uświadomiłem, że jeden z tych rowerów przejechał już ponad 22 tysiące kilometrów. Wczoraj wrzucałem screena że stravy, ale dzisiaj dotarło to do mnie ile to jest. Dzwoniłem dzisiaj do serwisu i pytam zaczepnie czy nie wcisną mnie na jakiś delikatny serwis roweru. W słuchawce pracownik serwisu odpowiedział gromkim śmiechem i, że z moim rowerem to nigdy nie jest drobny serwis, ten rower nie ma lekko. Taka jest prawda, nie chce być inaczej. Małżonka przyznała mi się, że oglądała nowe rowery i w sumie sam zajrzałem na stronę producenta tego mojego i upgrade kosztowałby jakieś 3100 zł. Może podjadę do salonu i się pokręcę i popytam - można się śmiać, że ten mój Northtec to trochę frankenstein z wieloma przeszczepami, ale na tyle kilometrów popełnionych przez osobę, która średnio umie dbać o rower, to wydaje się, że zakup był jak najbardziej uzasadniony.

Bike, bike, bike. Yesterday I realized that one of those bikes has already done more than 22,000 kilometers. I posted a Strava screenshot yesterday, but only today did it really hit me how much that actually is. Today I called the bike service shop and jokingly asked whether they could squeeze me in for some minor servicing. The guy on the phone burst out laughing and said that with my bike it’s never a minor service — that bike has a hard life. And that’s the truth, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
My wife admitted that she had been looking at new bikes, and I also checked the manufacturer’s website for mine. An upgrade would cost around 3,100 PLN. Maybe I’ll stop by the showroom, take a look around, and ask a few questions. People can laugh that my Northtec is basically a Frankenstein bike with countless transplanted parts, but considering how many kilometers it has done in the hands of someone who isn’t exactly great at taking care of a bike, it really seems like a very justified purchase.
