I am answering for Terry as he is not that well and you have his name spelled wrong.

Isn’t what I see on steemit or steempeak (when unfiltered) the posts from all tribes (really all steem users) already? Or are you really saying that marlians.com represents (as a goal) the curation of all tribes so that one can find quality representatives of those tribes?

I have not used steemit in over a year, and have no idea what you see there now. Yes, you can look at an unfiltered feed on steempeak. Few like to do that. This effort is not about the feed. It is about the rewards. So if you post to the two particular tags paired, you would get rewards from both if you get curated.

What does the name Marlians mean or represent?

I have no idea of the meaning of the word. It is a name. The idea of the tag is to be inclusive. All of this is new - about two months old as you are. The token thing just started and we are in the wild, wild west. At this point, Terry decided to open the door to anything and later will refine.

Is the goal (or perhaps the focus) to get better earnings for the curated posts, or is it to help to improve the exposure of those posts because of the quality you feel they offer?

Both. The biggest issue now is hundreds of posts per day with few curators to handle the flow.

Terry reached out to me and to a few others in the last few days to help and we are just starting.
