My Splinterlands Yearly summary: How I Was Inspired By Other Players

Hello splinterlands, I really want to thank the splinterlands team for the effort they put together to make this work effective. I really enjoyed the previous season and one of the monsters I was craving got the season reward.

What a wonderful Djinn Oshannus that I was longing for. I saw it in the battle.
At the beginning of the year, my collection power was below 30,000 and I began to think of how to grow my collection power. with 30,00 collection power, I started playing splinterlands: I was fortunate to reach diamond league and rarely champion. I did that for main times before the benchmark was set based on the collection power.

I continued hustle for months and I started acquiring more monsters in the second half of the year. My intention was to get more cards like other players I have met and ask about how they acquired so many cards.
Though, the mistake I made was that I did not know that splinterlands would be a mind blowing game; I would have put all my money into it. I was acquiring cards through daily quests and season rewards. It got to a certain stage where I started using my money to invest in the game but it wasn’t enough as I wanted. At that time, the price of the cards was already getting inflated.

At the beginning of the year, I didn't chat frequently. I got invited to discord channel some time ago, ‘not this year’. I got invited to splinterland through a friend, and i met many friends that helped to get more depth about splinterlands. When I saw how most of them were buying cards, I was also motivated to buy cards. That was when I bought most of my summoners and leveled them up to level 3 and 4.

Reading how other players are making exploits triggered me to put more of my effort on the game. I started playing the game like never before and wrote so many things about the game, generated more money on my post and used all the money to purchase cards. There was a time this year I started to engage in drawing because I needed the money to buy more cards. I did that for some time and I got the little money to get some monsters in the market. I tried enough to win the packs but couldn’t because some players are too good in artistic work. There was no way I could defeat them because they are excellent at drawing. I cherished their artworks more than mine.
In the light of pursuing my splinterlands goals, I also engaged in a trivia contest where the moderator asked questions about splinterlands cards such as abilities and other things. I never win the contest nor be among the runners up. Most times I got knocked out at the first stage of the contest.
Stick with some group of people that understand the game more than me and learn about the game by watching their battles and reading blogs to have in- depth knowledge about the game lineup.
Last month, I participated in a presale of Chao Legion. I bought 100 packs through the loan I collected from @neoxian and I was happy because I got good cards from it. I am aiming to buy more after paying off my loan.

Presently, my cp is more than 111,000 which is an incredible achievement for me. If I can set a goal of 200,000 cp for the year 2022; i believe I can achieve it.
