Making of "Lobstradamus" Fanart Illustration

Hello and Welcome to a new Episode of my Fanart Series.

Today we take a closer look at "Lobstradamus" and make a Fanart of the Charakter.

This Card is lately one of my favorites.
Lobstradamus is a awesome frontline tank and with a heal or two in your team he is pretty much unstoppable!

The character design of Lobstradamus is pretty unique. I love the creative process that hides behinde this card.

What i will try is to bring the Lobstradamus into a humanoid form.
I think this will make this character something more tangible.

Lets jump into work ant start with the rough Illustration Process:

My first sketch i do is always very rough. It is only a rough guideline for me what shape and proportions my illustration will have.

then i work on a clean sketch with some more details. This two steps makes it easy to finish a clean and detailed lineart.

Now it's time for adding the colour pallet, than shadows and at last step the very important highlights and effects.

3D art is a pretty cool thing to do, btw gratulations to you winning in last contest. I wish i had the time to get into 3D modeling.

Thanks friend.
You could learn, on YouTube there is a lot of content to do it, so I am learning, the courses are very expensive and life is very difficult here in Venezuela, my job is beehive at the moment and my publications do not reach many people lately, but I keep trying 😃

Yeah you do good keep it up. As long as you go with passion and you are willing to put in much effort you will for sure master 3D art at some point! ;)

For me I thought about getting into 3D modeling via Playstation Dreams...this looking very intuitive. But like always in life you have to prioritize some things above others and with family, full time job and some projects there is just no time for me getting into 3d modeling right now.

I understand but you are doing well and that is good, when you can take an hour and learn little, it takes a long time but we all go at our own pace.
If your art in 2d is great, in 3d it must be impressive ✌️
