Earn Free Crypto Blogging on HIVE Today!

The reason I love the play-to-earn game Splinterlands so much is that it has so many different ways you can earn crypto! One of them is to create great Splinterlands content on the HIVE Blockchain. You make upvotes by creating great content and receiving upvotes. Then, your post gets paid out a week later into your Hive wallet.

When I started blogging on the Steem Blockchain back in 2017, I earned maybe.28 for 1 post that took me 3 or 4 hours to make! You can's just throw up a shi$#t post as they call it. That is where you have one or two sentences and maybe a picture. You have to put some time into what you are creating. One day about 6 weeks into blogging every day on Steem, I got upvoted by a huge Steem whale., Hendridegote or something like that, I am totally butchering their name and apologize for that. I was so excited as I received about $78! This was huge to me. It was a long recipe with tons of photos for every step. I was hooked from that moment on!

Most of the time, I earned .09 or maybe .10 a post. Yep! As in pennies! It did not stop me, though. I decided I am doing this as I see so many people getting paid to blog, literally. I am a stay-at-home Mom of my adult son Adil who is 26 years old; he has Cerebral Palsy and cannot walk or talk. He needs 24. hour care for all of his daily needs. I always had been looking for ways to earn money from home. I used to be a telemarketer, newspaper delivery, school crossing guard, nighttime cocktail waitress, Realtor, etc. I was always looking for work that would fit into our daily schedule. Then, I saw how many people were getting a ton of upvotes for their photography or cooking recipes. So I started blogging right away with full-blown step-by-step photographed recipes. Posts of my photography and poetry and quotes as I would do on Instagram every morning.

But now that I saw what some people were earning, I was in too far now to ever head back. Back to Decentralized land, that is. No more Facebook, no more Instagram or Twitter. Why? They were not paying anything to anyone. So I started posting all the time on Hive, and most were all my lovely photos of nature, the city, art, etc., that I had been posting on social media for years. I saw people doing it, and I wanted in. It just took me a really long time, as in 3 + years, to see how amazing it indeed can be. This means you post every day, not just when Hive is up. You make this your new social media home. No more Twitter, no more Facebook, I started not posting on Instagram anymore. Maybe just once a week now or so. I just wanted to be immersed into this Blockchain lifestyle where you blog and get paid to do it!

I will say in Splinterlands today. You all have it made in the shade. Splinterlands upvotes your work now, and some people are getting a ton for their posts! Even going close to or over $100! Plus, all the upvotes from all the Splinterlands contests each week they have. I have listed them below. If you are not blogging on Hive, you are missing out! When I manually curate for Splinterlands, I try to give that joy I received by being upvoted by a whale for the first time back in 2017! Check out some of my old photos below I used to post on a daily basis on Instagram and Facebook. I must start posting my photos again on Hive, not just 100% Splinterlands, lol! I got a new iPhone (new camera for me lol) from @ty2nicerva so it is perfect timing.

Richmond, VA. has so many train tracks, and I have always found train tracks to be a fantastic photo piece. Especially if you can grab a sunset with it! The James River is just ahead in the picture; it is a gorgeous river. I love to be near it! There are so many birds in the area as well. This photo was taken near Pump House park.

I started blogging daily on the Steem Blockchain and have not stopped since. I am still here through the now tremendous and incredible Hive community. I have been here, though, since 2017 in the area, and I have to say I love it!

When you create a post on Hive, whatever upvotes you will receive will come to you in a week; then, you will see in your Hive wallet the post payout. Half of it will be in HBD (Hive Dollar), and the other half will be Hive power. You can then cash it out if you like by selling your HBD via Blocktrades in your Hive.blog wallet. I always leave my Hive power alone and let it grow bigger and bigger.

When you receive your post payout, you can cash it out and go buy Splinterlands cards or packs like I do or even pay a bill or go grocery shopping with it. It is also great to receive powered-up HIVE. You will have more RC (resource credits) for the game, curating, posting, and growing a larger upvote. A big thing is to not forget to add the SPT hashtag! Any SPT will go to your hive-engine account. You can claim it after a week+ and then start to earn SPS airdrops in the game by holding SPT! This is awesome!

This is exactly how I grew my Splinterlands and HIVE account and how I continue to do so every day I can. It took some time (4+ years) and a lot of work, but in the end, it is worth it for sure! There are so many opportunities players have and should take advantage of it and help grow their Hive power and Splinterlands collection. You will need to have a great thumbnail. You can also make a great video in the Splinterlands @3speak community that I created HERE, and if you are lucky, you will receive an upvote from Splinterlands and also from 3speak! I really love to upvote 3speak videos the most! I have created a channel to drop your 3speak Splinterlands videos every 6 days in my Discord HERE, but please do not post Splinterlands challenges posts there as those need to be upvoted on the Splinterlands post only. Make sure you write an excellent video description and add your Splinterlands referral link! What an awesome post. Great photos, I especially like that train photo. You are so right, those currently in the Splinterland community (Hive community in general) have got it allot easier compared to when us OG's started out on HIVE/Splinterlands. Today they can enjoy a juicy upvote from Splinterlands when creating and sharing their content in the proper channels. US OG's didn't have that luxury. I can remember joking about with some fellow posters when I first joined on how we would need to save up a weeks worth of post earnings to possibly have enough to purchase a happy meal from Mc'donalds. I like you pushed ahead because I seen the huge potential. I love the line you include in your post that tells people to keep posting even when the HIVE price is down. Its so true, most don't realize but earning HIVE is easier to do when the price is lower due to there being less people trying to earn on the network and less upvote adjustment. Yes! You have to keep posting even when you are not receiving the huge upvotes and Splinterlands players have it made on Hive with all 3 weekly Splinterlands challenges as they upvote a lot on those posts. You can earn so many happy meals now from just one post! 😂😂💯💯

From the very first day, I never understood the game , it took me time to realize how we can earn sevonday income too but by the time many users move way ahead than me...

A big thing is to not forget to add the SPT hashtag! Any SPT will go to your hive-engine account. You can claim it after a week+ and then start to earn SPS airdrops in the game by holding SPT! This is awesome!

I belive this is important piece I was missing too...may be now on I will start using, and see if I get some or not

Yeah I'm not sure why I have put off writing in the Splinterlands section. I guess I just didn't want to talk about strategies and the markets too much yet and that is in my direct area of interest.

I'm pretty thankful to Splinterlands as without it I probably wouldn't have attended a VR event in awhile as hivefest was my first and learned about hive through Splinterlands. It really is endless deep dives...
