Spell-books

}

I've spent some time in the Splinterland's Discord. One of the things that I have noticed is that new accounts who purchase the spell-book come in and are wondering when they will receive their book.

Those of us who respond to such question, explain the "spell-book" is really just being able to receive rewards. I just checked and it looks like I got an welcome-email after my purchase.

I think that people are really expecting some kind of a spell-book.

I propose that Splinterland create a digital spell-book that can be sent with the welcome email.

The Spell-book can be a graphic with a few pages that explain some function of the game. (how to receive private keys, some Splinterlands lore, a map, ect.) In this day and age a personalized Book cover should be no problem.

Maybe the new account person can even print this out as a pamphlet, It would add extra perceived value to the recent purchase.

Just a thought.

Have a great time in the game.

I really like the idea. Too often, people don't even realize their purchase went through. This could take away some of the confusion (and it's always fun to get something)

I didn't even know I got the e-mail until today. And I bought a new account last year to test the program.

Good idea, is there currently a welcome email sent when the $10 purchase is made or only at sign up or not at all? I know the email newsletters are a new development.

This would make certain that the new players payment went through. If someone came the room and did not receive a spell-book it would quicken the process. I went through many question until we came to the conclusion that the payment had not arrived with a new player last night.

Very good suggestion Randolph... these ideas like this add up. It should be inexpensive and not to complicated to implement, but it would leave a great first impression and improve that experience.
