We Monster Maniacs have three added tournaments to play on 12/14/2019. They are fittingly named Light Weight Championship, Middle Weight Championship and Heavyweight Championship. These three tournaments combined have a current total value of $772 USD up for grabs. These are extra tournaments on top of all the added value we already get each day. 64 places pay in each one of these games so the chances of you being able to cash in at least one of them is on the higher side. You might be asking yourself, " Why did we get these added tournaments"? As you'll be able to see quoted below in text and a screen shot the reason behind these specially added games is the success of UNTAMED.

A Quote From The Splinterlands Team

The Splinterlands team is extremely grateful for a wonderful start to UNTAMED. We're sponsoring EXTRA 3 tournametns for a total of 1.2 Million DEC on Saturday the 14th.

Its only been a very short while since UNTAMED officially released and already a massive number of 280,000* UNTAMED boosters have sold. To put that in perspective for you ..... The first edition of Splinterland cards that are called Aplha had a max supply of 300,000. The second edition called BETA had a max supply of 900,000 BOOSTERS. So in UNTAMED short life span it already sold around the same amount of BOOSTERS that ALPHA had total and sold what equals to about 30% of the supply BETA had to offer. I think its safe to say that UNTAMED has been a massive success. These three EXTRA tournaments will be played in the Silver, Gold and Diamond leagues (Screen shots of them can be seen below).

Light Weight Championship

Silver League

Middle Weight Championship

Gold Cards + Gold League

Heavy Weight Championship

Diamond League

But I am on the way, slowly tho.

Hey @shortsegments, here is a little bit of BEER from @rentmoney for you. Enjoy it!

I have to skip these as I am barely able to come up with a win in bronze tournaments let alone silver...

It might be worth registering to the Silver one as 64 places pay.

You might sneak your way into a paying spot.

Hey @rentmoney, here is a little bit of BEER from @eii for you. Enjoy it!

Oops. A lot of tags. I wonder how can you add so many tags.

I post from Tribe sites.

Most allow 10 tags and some others allow more. Steemit only recognizes the first five regardless of how many tags are used. Tribe sites will recognize their own tag regardless of what position its in.

Thank you for this, but I wonder if you know of any information about what type of deck I need to compete in these? I have gotten up to golden leagues but I die first round in silver tournaments....

I feel like there is something I am not understanding.

Getting to Gold with silver level or even Bronze level cards is easy to do compared to using underpowered cards in tournaments and being successful in doing so. In most cases one needs the max leveled monsters in their collection in which a specific tournament is being played to be competitive. There's exceptions to this rule. One exception being picking a great counter to a team that is more leveled than your own.

Summoner limits for Silver are:
Common: 5
Rare: 4
Epic: 3
Legendary: 2

I would recommend you have at least 2 summoners at the Silver limits at the above levels (more if possible as not all Splinters are active for battle) and some monsters maxed to each summoners capabilities. The good thing about the upcoming tournaments advertised in this topic is top 64 pay so its possible to sneak to the pay levels with some underpowered teams.

In short, if they're free to enter for you than you lose nothing by doing so expect for possibly a battle or two so I would recommend giving them a shot if you got the time to do so.

Wow! Just wow! I might take part in the Light Weight one, I hope it doesn't conflict with my schedule.

Nice, good luck in the tournament.
