Genesis League Goals: Another Presale to Invest In - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 9 Report
If you asked around some excited fans of @splinterlands about their thoughts of the recent events, many of those who are not whales may also tell you about how annoyed they are. Most of these players tend to be Dolphin sized players. In other words, you can describe them as the middle class within the ecosystem the game has become. That is correct, we have witnessed @splinterlands become more than just a Collectible Card Game on blockchain and expand into more areas. One such area is DeFi, which I have written about in detail.
Genesis League Goals
This new game is using Major League Soccers Players Association roster. That means NFTs based on real players is involved. I have far more interest in fictional Sci-Fi or Fantasy settings more than some sports game. That is not to say that there is a real demand for this type of things. Trading Cards of the old days and their market values make a very good case for why MLS Players Association should partner with a blockchain game developer with a proven track record to develop NFTs, Tokenomics and gameplay.

There are some great incentives to join the presale happening in 3 days. I doubt we would see the same level of excitement Riftwatchers or even Tower Defense game did. It is still a mere half a million Packs which can run out fast.

It has been another okay Season with results I am fine with. I did manage to get the best out of last few minutes before the Season ended. I wil try to reach Diamond II in the current Season. It will be a good improvement after a long time.

I would definitely prefer to have those Legendary Cards over Epic Cards. I like how the distribution of Reward Cards ended up being this Season. That is not to say they cannot be better. So far I'm fine with the way things were.

The Rentals income has improved and they may keep getting better as I open more Riftwatchers Gems and Chaos Legion Packs. I have some sitting around due to lack of Potions to open them. I don't plan to buy anymore. What I earn from Rewards is sufficient as I am fine waiting for few more weeks to finish opening up all the Packs I have.

VOUCHERs don't have much use for me at the moment. On the other hand they are at a market bottom. It is not impossible for the price to dip even further. Therefore I am stuck HODLing them with the possibility of having them in a Diesel Pool earning some extra passive income at the expense of impermanent loss.
It is not entirely a bad problem to have too many exciting opportunities to invest in while being drained of the funds to invest in them. At least it means that the ecosystem is growing at a rapid pace. What Dolphins and Minnows have to do at the moment is prioritizing things by either minimizing losses or by going all out and trying to maximize profits.

Your rewards are fairly good as you got 6 chaos legion packs and I think those are better than a legendary card that you get. What are you doing with your chaos legion cards for rentals? I don't think level 1 does a great job of being rented out.

Chaos Legion packs have the potential to be better than a Legendary Reward Card. Over time they will be worth a lot as evident by Alpha, Beta, Orbs etc. When you open the Packs, the results can be underwhelming at times.
Level 1 Cards on Chaos Legion at Common and Rare rarities is not something I bother with renting. I try to get them to Level 2 or 3 before listing them on the Rental Market.
