I'm a guy living in the Philippines playing NFT games for fun, and of course to earn. I decided that instead of playing games just for fun, why not play games where you can have and earn at the same time.
I'm a graduate of Civil Engineering last year. I'm now currently working and consider playing Splinterlands a hobby/sideline. I believe that cryptocurrency is the future. That social media connected to blockchains will replace Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
This year, NFT games just boomed in the Philippines and many NFT games are popping out. Filipinos being so active in the gaming community, grabbed every opportunity they can get to play and earn, especially today people loose their jobs because of pandemic. Splinterlands is one of the games that became popular in the Philippines because many Filipinos are also engaged in trading card games like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering, like me. I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links and I quitted just a couple of weeks ago because I want to focus on Splinterlands. In just a couplr of days I got hooked on the game. It's fun and you won't even think that you also earn in the game. I hope the developers of the game continue to improve the game. Let's also support the technical team and admins behind the game that handles issues, problems, inquiries, and tickets of other players on Discord and Telegram. Let's make Splinterlands a healthy and fun community.
