Candidacy for DAO Treasurer: Committed to Splinterlands and Decentralization

Hello Splinterlands Community,

I am excited to present my candidacy for the role of DAO Treasurer, a position critical to the secure and decentralized future of the SPS token infrastructure.

My Journey with Splinterlands:

Since May 2020, I have been deeply involved with Splinterlands. While I may often operate behind the scenes, my commitment to the game and its ecosystem is unwavering. My engagement with Splinterlands has always been driven by a genuine passion for the platform's growth and success.

My Investment in the Ecosystem:

I hold almost 2 million SPS and I am the proud owner of a full Region - MOONFALL (058) within Splinterlands. This significant investment underlines my confidence in the game and my long-term commitment to its prosperity.

Contributions to the Community:

As the creator of https://splinterboard.org, I have provided a valuable resource to the community. Although the site’s activity has been minimal lately, I have big plans for its future development and its role within the ecosystem.

Validator Licenses and Commitment to Decentralization:

With 5 validator licenses under my belt, I would like to setup validators in a Swiss datacenter, (that i already use for other blockchain projects) as soon the validator system goes live – a decision that aligns with my belief in enhancing the ecosystem’s decentralization, away from major public cloud providers like AWS, Google and Microsoft.

Involvement in Hive - Financial/Technical:

My interest in the Hive ecosystem and the broader crypto space is both financial and technical. With more than 14,500 Hive Power (and growing..) and 6,000 HBD, I am heavily invested in and knowledgeable about Hive’s infrastructure and governance.

Professional Expertise:

I own a Hosting/Web Business and I am not only experienced in running private nodes for various blockchains, such as Ethereum and Hive, but also in maintaining and utilizing block explorers. My regular monitoring of the Splinterlands wallets through these tools has equipped me to quickly identify and question any anomalies or unusual activities.

Commitment as a DAO Treasurer:

I am up-to-date with the Splinterlands community and can respond promptly to developments. I am prepared to execute the will of the SPS stakeholders with integrity, regardless of my personal views. I understand the importance of the Treasurer's role in securing and managing the DAO's assets and I am ready to undertake this responsibility.

KYC and Transparency:
I am open to undergoing KYC with the Splinterlands team to ensure transparency and trustworthiness.

Geographical Diversification:
I believe it is crucial for DAO Treasurers to not only be technical decentralized but should also bring a geographical diversity. Being based in Switzerland, I would add to the geographical and regulatory diversity of the team, an essential factor considering the evolving landscape of DAO regulations.

I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve the Splinterlands community as a DAO Treasurer and to help secure a prosperous future for the SPS ecosystem.
