I think that one can join the game anytime at will, it is never too late to join in. It only took me a year from the time I got my first card and a half to play a practice battle... (I eventually sold all my cards... and I cannot believe that let go of my last ALPHA gold foil cards a couple of days before I started playing, because I had not thought that I would be joining the game 2 days after, LOL!!!)
No wonder I am so sleepy and tired at work! I too do not have much recreational time... and now I realize that I have been playing during my home time for chores and relaxation, LOL!!! OMG.... that moji-you is a perfect reminder for me to have a more balanced day and make good use of my time!
