What is MyEtherWallet ?

MyEtherWallet is a wallet that built on the ethereum blockchain where you can store your ethereums or ERC-20 tokens. Just like your real life wallet where you can store your traditional currencies.

Which Coin Does MyEtherWallet Support ?

Currently it supports :-

1. ETH (Ethereum)
2. ETC (Ethereum Classic)
3. ERC - 20 tokens.

How to creat a MyEtherWallet ?

Simple. Just follow the steps.

• Go to myetherwallet.com and then you will see this page.

• Then click "Creat a new wallet".
• Then press "Next" untill you will see the following page.
• Click "get started". Then you will get the following page.

• There are three options to creat a wallet but I created used "Keystore File" and for that I will show you how to creat mew wallet by keystore file. Click "By Keystore File". Then you will get the following page.

• Give a strong password. Then click next.
• Then Click "Download Keystore File". (N.B. :- This keystore file is very important. If you lose this file you can't access your wallet. So, be careful to store it.)

• Then click "Software".

• Then click "Keystore file" and then "Continue "

• Then provide your keystore file.
• Then enter your password.
• Your wallet is now created. Congratulations!!

How much does it cost ?

MEW is completely free. It does not cost anything. You are free to use. But it will cut a small transection fee.

How secure is MyEtherWallet ?

MyEtherWallet provides the high security to you. It is now the most used wallet on the ethereum blockchain. You must not handover your private stuffs otherwise you may lose your currency.

Where I can find my ETH wallet address ?

The first blue box (address) is your ETH wallet address.

How to send currencies to others ?

In the front page you will get this.

Then follow what they ask to you.

How to receive coins ?

Simply give your wallet address to the sender.

How to add tokens ?

1. Click custom tokens at the right side and follow what they ask.

You will find the token contact address, token symbol, decimals to https://etherscan.io
