My first "untamed" unboxing! I was feeling lucky...

As usual, I'm always a little late to the party. So why break a habit of a lifetime?

Long after the UNTAMED kick-starter is over and after watching several people show off their new cards, I finally pulled the trigger and picked up my first pack of untamed cards.

I've mentioned a few times that I've been saving my DEC in order to pick up the last remaining BETA pack summoners, and try and get my own to lvl 5, but because I was feeling lucky, I decided to splash out 2000DEC and pick up my first untamed booster pack.

The process is incredibly simple and as far as I can tell, purchasing using DEC as apposed to $ is better value, as the DEC/$ ratio means 2000DEC is under the $2 purchase price.

And in a flash, the DEC was gone and a brand new UNTAMED pack turned up in my account...

I let my @splinterlands account do what it does and redeem my pack for 5, new, untamed cards.

I haven't bought many packs, but I do like the introduction and the process of randomly selecting the cards. The flashing and lightening bolts all adds to the suspense of what might appear.

So this is it!! NO going back now....

Whays going to be behind these 5 cards??

As this is my first pack, I don't have any of the new selection, so everything will be new to me and add to my fighting decks ability. But secretly, deep down I'm hoping for some legendary cards and more specifically GOLD FOIL legendary cards...

Well its safe to say the build up was better than the follow through. Lol

I'll take a closer look at these cards later on today, but first impressions is that they won't add much to my existing deck. The LIFE splinter "loan boatman" looks to have some promise and with shield and a +2 range attack as standard, it might fit into my attack strategy somewhere.

I have a feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg and the first of many pack openings in my future. If I come across anything interesting I will definitely show you guys. But since this was my first, I just had to let you know how well I DIDNT do.
