Making my blue Splinter more Powerful
This season, I'm trying to climb the ladders in Modern league. This is the first time that I concentrate on modern and it's going very well so far. I climbed from novice to diamond II already in this season! While playing in Modern league, I realized that the blue deck is very powerful and that my cards aren't that good. That's why I decided to make my blue Splinter more Powerful by purchasing some interesting cards...

Yeah I like Water decks too, even when playing in Bronze and Silver leagues. Sea Monster and Djinn Oshannus are two cards that I used the most.
These two are pretty powerful ones. I've been using Sea Monster for ages but I can't play it in modern. I'm always looking for it and remembering lol.
I like the water mallet. If used well it has very powerful combinations.

That's some pretty nice purchases that should help you progress with your Water splinter. Actually, I'm surprised you held up so well with level 6-ish cards (some of them).
It's really the first season that I play seriously in Modern. In Wild I kind of used other cards. I quickly saw the difference when I played fully developed cards in the game.
blue splinter doesn't need even to level up and buy new cards, its too powerful from beggining :D

Haha, well I realized that it was actually cheaper to buy fully developed cards that to buy enough single cards to reach a fully upgraded card... So I use the old cards for my second and third deck lol.

I agree that it is not a good time to sell cards, but however to gain max-strength in terms of purchasing power it would be more consequent to sell the old cards than to give it to alt-accounts

I think that is a good plan to just let your assets grow and take them out when you need them. Also, those are some nice cards you bought. I don't have a max level deck but I don't think Tide biter misses much at all. The speed on that card is quite good.

I like the fact that I can put my earnings into the diesel pools just to access when I need it to purchase cards ;-). Tide biter is a really powerful card but when you play against curl lurker combined with jacek, the misses are so frequent that a true shot ability can make the difference.
I never fought a Jacek and lurker combo yet but it does look a strong combo.

I use this combo quite often and add swiftness to it. I sometimes win a game without getting a single hit :-)
