This intro gif is a bit of a spoiler because this week has been dominated by the Dragon splinter. Four out of five battles showcased here were fought with it. The advantage of the dragon splinter is being able to complement it with a second splinter. However, our members' dragon splinter fights were almost exclusively played with dragon monster cards. IMO a clear sign of how powerful they are.

But please have a look for yourself and let me ask you: What's not to like about Dragons?

@pix21 thought he would lose this brawl in a Silver fray. But with Daria's +1 melee, and Pix using a 5 / 6 melee setup and these melee monsters having thorns, reach, sneak, and opportunity while also being reasonably fast, and topping it off with a fast and healing range monster. Speed vs. melee mayhem - nice win!!

@amphlux: "This might be one of my favorite games as of late" and I wholeheartedly agree, I love a 99 mana Dragon fight! His opponent had higher level (2 - 8) cards against Amphlux's all level 1s but he had no idea that he went straight into a Dragon Den of Legendaries. Just look at this beautiful assembly of dragons 😍, they all have 'flying' in an earthquake battle, lots of speed, and a +1 melee while robbing their opponent of 1 speed.

With this fight, Amphlux made it into Diamond III with only one day to go in the season to possibly make it into Diamond II - go Amphlux!!

@failingforwards has been battling in our brawls Gold Foils ONLY and in this last one that just ended brought in a whopping 5:0 - way to go!! Next time please give me a longer battle to watch - this one is over so quickly I had to replay it a couple of times - LOL. Bloodlust and magic reflect are killing it!

@indiebandguru our newest member is just getting back into the game after a long absence and he still rocks it!! Check out the nice line-up of this battle, too bad Venari Crystalsmith was robbed of her healing abilities. Very happy to have you play for our guild.

His comment for this battle: "Long battle with no healing. Was not sure how it was going to turn out when he counters my +1 range with a -1 range summoner."

@solymi / @splinternews All I'm going to say is TRAMPLE. Okay, I lied - have a look at this battle replay spoiler Desert Dragon single-handedly kills all 6 of the opponent's monsters! Wow, just wow!!

For once I was able to catch Splinternews' Twitch stream and watched this battle unfold live. Check out his Twitch channel and give him a follow.
