We are the Acolytes and Disciples of Helio, we try to define us as a human base layer DAO. We are a bunch of gamers and bloggers on hive and several other platforms. Our members are holding quite a few gaming NFTs and parts of metaverses like Sandbox. This Waifu is one in 3333 and is backed by a pretty big ILV stake. (it is solely playing the purpose of getting more clicks on the post but you must admit it worked ...) We are trying to work together to build our guild to new and higher levels in all aspects. By creating content on hive and other platforms we want to contribute to the buzz around this vibrant new play to earn world.

Financial Report

@solymi minister of finance (selfproclaimed) made the decision to flip all liquid assets into hive in preparation for the upcoming airdrop events.

As you all might have read the posts of @ragnarok.game I keep it short and simple the more HIVE we hold the more NFTs our account gets airdropped, simple. The NFTs we get for our holdings get distributed to those who want to compete in the RAGNAROK tournament. In this game everyone is for them selves so my suggestion is to equip 1 account to the teeth. This can be operated by guild leaders and mods or by a single member of the guild. revenues from eventual winnings would benefit the guild treasury. I want all members to think of our chances and possibilities here.

We spent 17k DEC to build our guild store in the disciples of helio guild, so finally every member can spend their merits on gladius cases and earn some extra airdrop points. Either @cinerotic or @kotenoke can pay 40 crowns to complete the building after the current BRAWL.

Our liquid tokens have mostly been swapped for hive to be prepared for the snapshot On January 6th, there will be a snapshot for SPK network as well.

The Proposal

We will keep buying CARTEL tokens with our assets and hold it in the guilds treasury. This will grow our overall influence as a guild since we will have access to all projects the cartel gets involved with as well. Should you choose to leave the guild you will be able to claim your CARTEL token. (This is just my thought and I think we should include a penalty since the tokens can be fractionalized we could start with a 50% penalty that gets to a minimum of 10-15% penalty can get less by 1% each season or gets halved every 6 months ) All dividends the future Cartel tokens drop will be compounded in the guild treasury and or distributed evenly between our members.

New members will only be accepted if they hold 1 cartel token and send it to @acolytesofhelio we do everything to keep the holdings secure and decentralized (Right now 4 trusted members of our guilds have active authority to this account, they are in different timezones. @solymi has a lot of reputation to loose should someone mess with this system we want to expand the circle of trust and we are looking into ways of doing it)

What we can think of:

• how can we get involved in the life of the CARTEL?
• do we have assets that could contribute to the overall CARTEL economy either by leasing it to the CARTEL for permanent use or operating a game etc. (the more you look into the discord the more sense it will make what I am talking about. I really urge you all again, do spend some time with research! I know we all have limited time, I just want you all to be informed in which direction I and hopefully we want to go.)

DAO in a DAO

If all spots of our two guilds are filled we have 35 members, this would mean we would hold 35 CARTEL as a guild plus all the CARTEL our members are holding individually. I recently rounded up to 25 CARTEL and probably will use rewards on my posts to buy more. I know of @aaros that he has done a purchase as well. @kotenoke is working closely with the oneup community and is involved as well. The acolytes account would vote for whatever proposal we decide to vote on as a guild. Note you can still vote with your other CARTEL tokens as you please, but we have to come to a concensus on the guild account every time a vote in the cartel needs to be cast. And why wouldnt you vote with the guild account if unless you where opposed to our concensus. And thats impossible, by being in the guild you accept that what is voted on is voted.

Since the past has shown that are members are lazy in voting I want to propose a group of 5 making the decisions. The group reports on activity and can be voted on every 3 months. Or by proposing an emergency vote in the discord and pass it with at least 18 votes. (if someone suspects abuse of power for example or 3 of the members are MIA or anything that would be needing immediate measures ) Nobody can nominate themselves to be in the group of 5 to be a nominee you need minimum one nomination by another guild member. The 5 highest nominees have to accept or come forward with a really good excuse why they don't want to take the cepter. If someone rejects they can nominate someone else. I warn you that this can cause quite some harm if you vote wrong! I am open for suggestions here as always.

As our guild levels grow with time we can raise the entry fee to be paid in CARTEL accordingly. I want our early members to be rewarded. (Note it does not matter when you joined our guild if you are in right now you are in! We will have talks with each member if they want to stay and how they want to contribute. If someone chooses to leave this is the time to say it either underneath this post or in our discord server or in the respective guild tavern)

We will purchase as many cartel tokens as we need to cover for each member still active after the proposal has been voted on ( you see I am biased and willing to do this little project :) )

Contributions to our guild account will be reviewed and probably extended. If we want to grow we need to take a deeper dip IMO. We right now do not have enough funds to buy 1 CARTEL for each member. As a larger stake holder in our guild I would be willing to contribute a part of the excess expenses.

New members have to deposit 1 CARTEL to our guilds account if you do not have a CARTEL you are not welcome thats it.
Further rules for new members coming in: be a content creator in the blockchain gaming area, be an active player in at least splinterlands. Have interest and preferably hold other gaming NFTs or assets. Willing to contribute to our overall guild life and guild ecosystem. Ergo create content in the name of the guild. This would give an opportunity to connect with the ONEUP curation services and delegate our income from blogging to the cartel curators. This way we provide growth for both our communities.

I could go on and on with ideas on how to make this the beginning of a beautiful friendship of a lot of guilds.

I want your Ideas as well, so in the discord discussion please drop your thoughts and ideas on how we could improve our guilds revenue in a sustainable way.
If you want to do extra contributions to our guild to help the project to grow faster this will be a onetime thing that the finance minister asks for more money. But be assured @solymi puts in some powder himself and hopes for others to join the cause. in soonest 3 months but the latest 6 months the cartel tokens will start to drop dividends. We do not know how much that will be, but there is only 75k CARTEL and thats it. we are still in early stages. I expect this to be a long term investment with very promising returns. But this is just me and my vision of play to earn being a realistic scenario of making a living.

• no excuse for not getting involved :)
