¡Hola chicos! Espero que hayan tenido un relajante fin de semana, por mi parte estuve dibujando mi entrada para el concurso de @Splinterlands de esta semana cada vez se pone mas difícil pues quiero hacer cartas que no haya dibujado antes de comenzar a repetir con personajes que ya hice antes, asi que ha sido una búsqueda difícil ya que la mayoría de cosas que quedan por hacer no se adaptan mucho a mi estilo, sin embargo, prometo que pronto hare el intento de hacer algo completamente diferente y nuevo, por ahora elegí la carta de IZA THE FANGED, la verdad no se me da muy bien esto de pintar bocas muy abiertas asi que decidí dejarla con la boca cerrada, quería hacerla con la boca abierta para poder resaltar los colmillos y la lengua de serpiente, pero decidí darle otro enfoque, mi idea era un retrato que tuviese una mirada bastante penetrante con una delicada sonrisa y una serpiente que se pose sobre sus hombros, elegí hacerlo estilo retrato porque hace mucho que no hacia esto para splinterlands y me encanta hacer rostros, en fin, intente simular muy bien el cabello y los colores para que luciese bastante parecida a la carta original, espero que les guste.

Hi guys! I hope you had a relaxing weekend, for my part I've been drawing my entry for the @Splinterlands contest this week, it's getting harder and harder as I want to make cards that I haven't drawn before starting to repeat with characters I've done, so it's been a difficult search as most of the things left to do don't really suit my style, however, I promise that soon I will try to do something completely different and new, for now I chose the card of IZA THE FANGED, the truth is that I'm not very good at painting very open mouths so I decided to leave her with her mouth closed, I wanted to make her with her mouth open to highlight the fangs and the snake tongue, but I decided to give her another approach, my idea was a portrait that had a very penetrating look with a delicate smile and a snake that rests on her shoulders, I chose to do it portrait style because it's been a long time since I did this for splinterlands and I love to make faces, anyway, I tried to simulate very well the hair and the colors to make it look quite similar to the original card, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realicé mi boceto sin muchos detalles, esta vez para los colores elegí tonos piel bastante pálidos y comencé a rellenar el rostro haciendo las sombras y luces sin mucho detalle, en una nueva capa agregue mas tonalidades al rostro para darle mejor forma y luego difumine estos colores para crear una piel mas lisa, para el cabello puse un tono verde bastante oscuro, casi llegando al negro, había pintado los ojos de amarillo pero me di cuenta que era un amarillo muy llamativo y no quedaba bien, decidí pintarlos de marrón oscuro y luego darle los reflejos con amarillo, asi lucia mas natural.

I made my sketch without many details, this time for the colors I chose quite pale skin tones and started to fill the face making the shadows and lights without much detail, in a new layer I added more shades to the face to give it a better shape and then I blurred these colors to create a smoother skin, I had painted the eyes in yellow but I realized that it was a very bright yellow and it didn't look good, I decided to paint them in dark brown and then give the highlights with yellow, so it looked more natural.

Pinte la ropa con un azul oscuro y la silueta de la serpiente con un tono verde, creando una mascara de recorte comencé a rellenar la serpiente utilice diferentes tonos de verdes y amarillos para crear todo el cuerpo de la serpiente, añadí los mechones de cabello blanco y comencé a preocuparme por el fondo, pero ya que es un retrato decidí hacer un fondo sencillo para el cual coloque un verde oscuro de base y luego experimente con algunas brochas buscando alguno con una textura que me gustase, luego de encontrarlo, pinte con verde claro. El fondo era muy brillante y mi personaje estaba demasiado claro, entonces decidí hacer una capa sobre el personaje con el modo de fusión “multiplicar” y un color verde oscuro, baje la opacidad y el dibujo se oscureció de una manera que lucia todo mas armonioso al menos para mi gusto.

I painted the clothes with a dark blue and the silhouette of the snake with a green tone, creating a clipping mask I started to fill the snake using different shades of greens and yellows to create the whole body of the snake, I added the tufts of white hair and started to worry about the background, but since it is a portrait I decided to make a simple background for which I placed a dark green base and then experimented with some brushes looking for one with a texture that I liked, after I found it, I painted with light green.
The background was too bright and my character was too light, so I decided to make a layer over the character with the blend mode "multiply" and a dark green color, I lowered the opacity and the drawing got darker in a way that made everything look more harmonious at least for my taste.

Para continuar agregue muchas iluminaciones en el rostro dándole un poco mas de vida, también arregle uno de los ojos que para mí se veía muy extraño a comparación del otro jaja, se me ocurrió fusionar parte del fondo con la silueta de ella, asi que utilice el pincel de textura de oleo para realizar algunas pinceladas que dieran este efecto, finalmente aplique algunos ajustes de color, saturación y exposición.

To continue I added many highlights in the face giving it a little more life, I also fixed one of the eyes that for me looked very strange compared to the other lol, I thought of merging part of the background with the silhouette of her, so I used the oil texture brush to make some brushstrokes to give this effect, finally I applied some adjustments of color, saturation and exposure.
