Feliz comienzo de semana amigos, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi nueva entrada para el concurso de @Splinterlands esta vez eligiendo la carta de “Lux Vega” una carta que al leer su descripción me dejo bastante intrigada, además de que se ve bastante hermosa a simple vista, quise elegirla en esta oportunidad y hacer una versión un poco mas dinámica y cambiando algunas cosas, la verdad es que fue un reto enorme por todos los detalles que tenia que hacer a Lux vega y su vestuario, pero disfrute muchísimo hacerlo tenía muchas ganas de recrear esta carta desde hace algún tiempo, pero quería hacerlo en un momento donde tuviese el suficiente tiempo de añadir detalles. En esta oportunidad quise representar el personaje con una perspectiva desde un ángulo bajo, creando a su alrededor muchas cartas volando y hacer su bastón en la espalda como si fuesen una especie de espadas, para esto coloque dos bastones, me gusto mucho esa idea, para la ropa no cambie muchas cosas realmente ya que su vestuario me gusta muchísimo. Como siempre me gusta agregar mucho brillo y colores llamativos en mis ilustraciones y esta no fue la excepción, espero que les guste.

Happy start to the week friends, today I want to share with you my new entry for the @Splinterlands art contest, this time choosing the "Lux Vega" card, a card that upon reading its description left me quite intrigued, besides that it looks quite beautiful from at first glance, I wanted to choose it this time and make a slightly more dynamic version and change some things, the truth is that it was a huge challenge because of all the details that I had to do to Lux Vega and her wardrobe, but I really enjoyed doing it, I've been wanting to recreate this card for some time, but wanted to do it where I had enough time to add details.
This time I wanted to represent the character with a perspective from a low angle, creating many flying cards around her and making the walking stick on her back as if it were some kind of swords, for this I placed two sticks, I really liked that idea, for the clothes don't really change many things since I really like her wardrobe.
As always I like to add a lot of shine and bright colors in my illustrations and this was no exception, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Comencé a pensar en mi boceto y poco a poco fui creando cada elemento, para ello me tome varias horas, después de tener lista mi idea comencé a pintar, utilice una paleta de colores de un lila pálido variando entre oscuros y claros para crear las sombras y luces en el cuerpo, coloque cada color y en una nueva capa comencé a difuminar los tonos en el rostro y luego en el resto del cuerpo, para el cabello utilice un azul muy oscuro de base.

I began to think about my sketch and little by little I was creating each element, for this it took me several hours, after having my idea ready I began to paint, I used a pale lilac color palette varying between dark and light to create the shadows and lights on the body, place each color and in a new layer I began to blur the tones on the face and then on the rest of the body, for the hair I used a very dark blue base.

Para no confundirme e ir pintando cada parte de su ropa por separado, cree diferentes capas donde en cada una pinte parte de sus prendas, colocando los tonos base en cada parte para luego darle forma a cada una de ellas, con la ayuda de una capa de recorte pude pintar sobre cada prenda sin pasar los limites de las otras y asi hacer un trabajo mas delicado, como verán utilice colores similares a los de la carta original para pintar la ropa, empecé a ocuparme del fondo y coloque un degradado de azules oscuros.

In order not to get confused and go painting each part of her clothes separately, create different layers where in each one I paint part of the clothes, placing the base tones in each part and then giving shape to each one of them, with the help of a clipping mask I was able to paint on each garment without going over the limits of the others and thus do a more delicate job, as you can see I used colors similar to those of the original card to paint the clothes, I began to take care of the background and place a dark gradient blue.

Se me ocurrió jugar con algunos tonos fríos y crear esta especie de rayos de fondo, luego comencé a pintar las cartas flotando en el aire y algunas esferas similares a las que lleva en el vestuario de la carta original, en una nueva capa comencé a detallar cada carta, creo que esto fue lo que mas tiempo me llevo, fue difícil hacer estas cartas y algo confuso a veces pero logre hacerlo lo mejor posible, para hacerlas resaltar aun más, coloque brillo rosa de fondo de cada carta, luego oscurecí un poco la silueta de Lux vega.

It occurred to me to play with some cold tones and create this kind of background rays, then I began to paint the cards floating in the air and some spheres similar to the ones in the costume of the original card, in a new layer I began to detail each card, I think this was what took me the most time, it was difficult to make these cards and a little confusing at times but I managed to do it the best possible, to make them stand out even more, I put pink glow in the background of each card, then I darkened a little the silhouette of Lux vega.

Pinte el bastón idéntico al original y para ahorrar un poco de tiempo, duplique el bastón ya pintando y lo pegue en el otro lado de su espalda, luego cree una capa de brillos donde resaltaría algunas partes del dibujo, finalmente aplique un ajuste de color dándole mas intensidad a los colores.

Paint the walking stick identical to the original and to save a bit of time, duplicate the stick already painting and paste it on the other side of her back, then create a highlighter layer where i would make glow some parts of the drawing, finally apply a color adjustment giving it more intensity to the colors.
