Splinterlands Art Contest - Week 259 - Enchanted Pixie

Hey there, everyone. Another week, another entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest we got here.

Eyes

When I was at this stage of the drawing, I was like "Man, her eyes are creepy" and while she looks cute and all in the original card art, it looks hella scary in mine (like an anime character plotting something dark). But after adding her orange eyes she started to look more like a decent character and more lively, so I think that turned out pretty well.

Eyes Improvement

While I was reassured because of how her eyes changed for the better after adding the orange part to the mix, I was also thinking of changing it back to white. I just wanted to keep these kinds of stuff close to the original art and not deviate too much as I've seen other great artists in the Splinterlands Art Contest take freedom in changing character to how they see fit and theirs also look absolutely stunning. But hey, it looks like the original character and is a fanart towards that, so no complaints I guess hahaha

Background

This time for the background I used the Paper Daisy brush under the Organic category in Procreate and I honestly liked how it resonated with her being a flying creature (presumably a butterfly? but yeah)

And this is how it turned out at the end. While I'm OK with how it looks, I'm also looking for suggestions on how I can improve my work, so any advice and tips would be appreciated
