[ENG/ESP] Splinterlands Brawl Report - PIZZA 2 GUILD 10/Dec/2021 + Gladius Pack Opening

Hola! Espero de corazón que quien esté leyendo esto esté teniendo un día espectacular y tenga una feliz navidad!

December is already here and i decided to change a bit the avatar in the thumbnail, now it fit more with December, don't u think?. i Must say that is the first time that i use a Padoru in ... something lol, i mostly just ignore that sort of thing because my lazyness is pretty big to make one, but since @cursephamton brought up the subject the other day I was thinking "I could make one for a change" and while doing this post I decided to create it to include it here, in addition to putting Christmas hats on everyone there! Hell, I even put a hat on the chicken xD.The padoru doesn't look that much like my avatar, but it's the best I could do with "Padoru Maker".

Ah? You say that someone is missing a hat in the miniature? oh yeah ... him, his name is Franchesco and he does not like christmas neither nothing related to it because when he was kid santa gifted him a Polystation for christmas :(.
Well no, i just wanted to extend innesesarily this a bit longer, lol. But being serious, i'am very sure that in some part of the world, in some part of the time, the christmas of a kid was ruined for that bootleg xD.

Diciembre ya está aquí y decidí cambiar un poco el avatar en la miniatura, ahora encaja más con diciembre, ¿no creen?. Debo decir que es la primera vez que uso un Padoru en... algo jajaja, la mayoría de las veces simplemente ignoro ese tipo de cosas porque mi pereza es bastante grande para hacer uno, pero desde que @cursephamton sacó el tema el otro día estaba pensando "podría hacer uno para variar" y mientras hacía este post decidí crearlo para incluirlo aquí, ¡además de ponerles gorros navideños a todos los que están allí! Demonios, hasta le puse un sombrero al pollo xD.
El padoru no se parece mucho a mi avatar, pero es lo mejor que puedo hacer con "Padoru Maker".
Ah ¿Dices que a alguien le falta un sombrero en la miniatura? oh si ... él, se llama Franchesco y no le gusta la navidad ni nada relacionado con ella porque cuando era niño santa le regaló una Polystation para navidad :(.
Bueno, no, solo quería extender esto un poco más, jajaja. Pero siendo serio, estoy muy seguro que en alguna parte del mundo, en alguna parte del tiempo, la navidad de un niño se arruinó por ese bootleg xD.

Continuing with the post, today with the merits I obtained in this brawl was able to accumulate enough to buy my 3rd pack of Gladius cards. Among all the gladius cards I think that Quora is the one that interests me the most, before starting with the fights let's look at what I got.

Continuando con el post, hoy con los méritos que obtuve en esta brawl pude acumular suficientes para comprar mi 3er paquete de cartas Gladius. Entre todas las cartas gladius creo que Quora es la que más me interesa tener, antes de empezar con los combates miremos que obtuve.

Kotrypus Bayne and Edith Emberstar (I already have the rest of the cards) ... hmmm, interesting. Kotrypus Bayne has A LOT of HP for a 6 mana card and 2 melee damage, Edith Emberstar is very similar to Octopider but with 1 more ranged damage, in my opinion, for an epic Gladius card it doesn't look that good.
One thing I love about Gladius cards is that they give just as much power as Untamed or Dice cards, so for that alone they are welcome in my deck!

Kotrypus Bayne y Edith Emberstar (el resto de cartas ya las tengo)...hmmm, interesante. Kotrypus Bayne tiene MUCHO HP para ser una carta de 6 maná y 2 de daño cuerpo a cuerpo, Edith Emberstar es muy similar a Octopider pero con 1 más de daño a distancia, a mi criterio, para ser una carta épica Gladius no se ve tan buena.
Algo que adoro sobre las cartas Gladius es que dan tanto poder como las cartas de edición Untamed o Dice, así que solo por eso son bienvenidas en mi mazo!

The fire splinter currently has a good amount of low mana melee monsters so i decided to chose that.
Earth splinter is off so we don't will see a Mylor and probably if the opponet use magic will not be enough to beat me.
I added creeping ooze to hopefully atack first and Cocatrice in the botton to tank some hits with his speed+fly.
I've never used Orella Abadon so this is a good time to test it. Ant miner in the middle to protect it the most i can and sepertine spy to do more damage.
Nicely done, the opponet decided to use a high mana card with magic atack but relatively low HP. He attack 1 time per turn,but i do it 4 times.

El splinter de fuego actualmente tiene una buena cantidad de monstruos con ataque cuerpo a cuerpo con bajo maná, así que decidí elegir ese.
El splinter de tierra está apagado, por lo que no veremos un Mylor y probablemente si el oponente usa magia no será suficiente para derrotarme.
Agregué Creeping Ooze para atacar primero y Cocatrice en el fondo para esquivar (con suerte) algunos golpes con su velocidad + vuelo.
Nunca he usado Orella Abadon, así que este es un buen momento para probarlo. Ant miner en el medio para protegerlo lo más que pueda y Sepertine spy para hacer más daño.
Bien, el oponente decidió usar una carta de alto maná con ataque mágico pero de relativamente bajo HP, el ataca 1 vez, yo 4.

Since Alric was removed from the free cards in the spellbook I saw less likely to be attacked with magic so instead of using Bortus, Oshanus and Sea Monster, I decided to use Daria with a Sneak combo in Life, but due to the current rule, no I could play cards with even mana costs, so I couldn't use Shieldbearer in first position, so I decided to put Warrior of peace instead.
They attacked me with magic x_x, that was unexpected, I better continue with my old strategy. Now that I think about it, due to the rule I wouldn't have been able to use Oshannus, Torhilo or Sea monster anyway xD.

Ya que Alric fue removido del spellbook ví menos probable el ser atacado con magia así que en lugar de usar a Bortus, Oshanus y Sea Monster, decidí usar a Daria con un combo de Sneak con vida, pero debido a la regla actual, no podía jugar cartas con costes pares de maná, así que no podía usar Shieldbearer, en la primera posición, así que decidí poner a Warrior of peace en su lugar.
Me atacaron con magia x_x, que inesperado, mejor seguiré con mi antigua formación. Ahora que lo pienso, debido a la regla no hubiera podido usar ni a Oshannus ni a Torhilo ni tampoco a Sea monster de todas formas xD.

Mana: 20.
Allowed teams: Water, death, dragon.

Summoners do not give bonuses, there are only common monsters and the game is low mana, so because of this I decided to do as much damage as I could while protecting myself.
Haunted spider is a card that I really like because it does a lot of damage and only costs 3 mana, and I was happy that among the Chaos legion cards they included another 3 mana card that also does 2 damage (Soul strangler)! I love Dark Ferryman too but because it has a lot of life, so it is good to defend against snipers, that's why I put it in the second position, in the first position Haunted spirit because it is a great tank with little mana and then the Chicken in the back to protect the spider. I decided to also include Life sapper, a Chaos legion card, since can vampirize and together Dark Ferryman and Hanted spirit would help in defense.
The game was closed, the healing of my Haunted Spirit was disabled and Silent-Sha-Vi gave me creeps, but in the end I was able to win.

Los invocadores no dan bonus, solo hay monstruos comunes y la partida es de poco mana, así que debido a esto decidí hacer tanto daño como pudiese a la vez que me protegía. Haunted spider es una carta que me gusta mucho ya que hace mucho daño y solo cuesta 3 de mana, y me alegró que entre las cartas de Chaos legion incluyeran otra de 3 se mana que hace también 2 de daño! Dark ferryman me encanta también pero por que tiene mucha vida, así que es buena para defenderse contra snipers, por eso la puse en la segunda posición, en la primera posición Haunted spirit por que es un gran tanque de poco mana y la gallina al fondo para proteger a la araña. Decidí incluir también a Life sapper, una una carta de Chaos legion, ya que puede vampirizar y junto Dark Ferryman y Hanted spirit ayudarían en la defensa.
La partida estuvo cerrada, la curación de mi Haunted Spirit fue deshabilitida y Silent-Sha-Vi me puso los pelos de punta, pero al final pude ganar.

The chosing this time was like a rock, paper, scissors one. With the new summoner in life (u know, the hippopotamus) using Mylor is risky when life splinter is on, but precisely if using Mylor i got defense against melee and also can use the Unicorn with Void to have some against magic too, so i decided to take the risk.
About the result...i'am spechless, is Quora from a past brawl haunting me once more x_x. Now i want that freaking card so much lol.

La elección esta vez fue como un piedra, papel, tijeras. Con el nuevo invocador en vida (ya sabes, el hipopótamo) usar Mylor es arriesgado cuando vida está activo, pero usando a Mylor obtengo defensa contra el cuerpo a cuerpo y también puedo usar el Unicornio con Void para tener algo contra magia también, así que decidí tomar el riesgo.
Sobre el resultado ... no tengo palabras, es Quora de una [brawl pasada] (https://peakd.com/spt/@amaillo/engesp-splinterlands-brawl-report-pizza-2-guild-30nov2021) atormentándome una vez más x_x. Ahora quiero esa maldita carta xD.

Normally I would choose death but because the Explosive weapondry is active I decided to use the new summoner Kelya and use Venari wavesmith to increase the shield. I also included Kelp in front since with his great speed it is very likely that he can dodge often.
Things did not turn out well, I did not take into account that my opponent could use Oshannus or someone with Void, I focused too much on the shield.

Normalmente elegiría muerte pero debido a que Explosive weapondry está activo, decidí usar al nuevo invocador Kelya y usar a venari wavesmith para aumentar el escudo. Además incluí a Kelp al frente ya que con su gran velocidad es muy probable que pueda esquivar seguido.
Las cosas no resultaron bien, no tomé en cuenta que mi oponente podría usar a Oshannus o a alguien con Void, me centré demasiado en el escudo.

I thought it would be a good idea to use Daria and attack in the rear, apart from that those monsters do not have much HP, so equalizer would help them, while in front I protected myself from magic with Failed summoner and from the melee attack with Dragon spirit. But I made a mistake and included Wood Nymp when he had Healed out in the game ...

Pensé que sería buena idea usar a Daria y atacar en la retaguardia, a parte ya que esos monstruos no tienen mucho HP el equalizer los ayudaría, mientras al frente me protegía de la magia con failed summoner y del ataque melee con Dragon spirit. Pero cometí un error e incluí a Wood Nymp cuando había Healed out en la partida...

In this game, it is either attacked with magic or it is done with a melee attack. The Mylor + Unicorn + Mushroom combo is the best for this situation, so I used that.
My opponent played with full magic, which I had well covered, so I won the game without problems.

En esta partida o se ataca con magia o se hace con ataque melee. El combo de Mylor + Unicornio + Hongo es lo mejor para esta situación, así que usé eso.

I was 5th place with 3 wins and 4 losses. I think I could have done better in several games, but hey, you can't always win.

Quedé de 5to lugar con 3 victorias y 4 derrotas. Creo que pude haberlo hecho mejor en varias partidas, pero bueno, no siempre se puede ganar.

Regarding the guild, we got the 5th place! Not the best, not the baddest.

En cuanto al gremio, ¡obtuvimos el quinto lugar! No es el mejor, ni el más malo.
