Battle #1

Ruleset: Aim true, heavy hitters.
Mana: 19.
Allowed teams: Fire, water, earth, life, dragon.

I want to be protected against magic while doing good damage, so Bortus is a good choice. Since attacks will never fail using Oshannus would be a bad idea as his speed would not help him dodge attacks, so I will use Thorhilo and place Axemaster to maximize the damage. Bingo, my opponent mainly used magic so it was easy to beat him.

Quiero estar protegido contra la magia a la vez que hago un buen daño, así que Bortus es una buena elección. Debido a que los ataques no fallarán nunca usar a Oshannus sería mala idea ya que su velocidad no le ayudaría a esquivar ataques, así que usaré a Thorhilo y colocaré a Axemaster para maximizar el daño. I decided to try something more experimental to counter magic, so I used Owster Rotwell (grants magic reflection to monsters) and put high-life monsters in front, including Bone Golem who has Void. Thinking of what to put, the wires in my head got crossed and I placed Prismatic energy when I should have put Peaceful Giant in second position.
Regarding the damage I decided to use monsters with sneak. Big mistake, my opponent used Sea monster in front and because all my attack was towards the rear in the end it was not enough damage to defeat him.
Doing some tests with splintertools.io I was able to find what would have been the ideal team, you can see it HERE, there I used ranged damage.

Decidí probar algo más experimental para contrarrestar la magia, así que que usé a Owster Rotwell (otorga reflejo de magia a los monstruos) y coloqué monstruos con mucha vida al frente, incluyendo a Bone Golem que tiene Void. Pensando en que poner, se me cruzaron los cables y coloqué a Prismatic energy cuando debí poner a Peaceful Giant en la segunda posición.
Respecto al daño decidí usar monstruos con sneak. Gran error, mi oponente usó a Sea monster al frente y debido a que todo mi ataque estaba hacia la retaguardia al final no fue suficiente daño para derrotarlo.
Haciendo algunas pruebas con splintertools.io pude dar con lo que hubiera sido el equipo ideal, puedes verlo AQUI, allí usé daño a distancia.
Por cierto, conoces splintertools.io? Allí puedes visualizar tus últimas batallas y recrear equipos para hacer pruebas.

Do you remember this battle from the previous post? Well, is the same guy.
The odds of he use another Water/Magic team is high so, let's do a strategy thinking in that.
Instead of use Bortus and Thorilo/Oshannus, thought to do something different using life, so i decided to use Mother Khala. For the team obviusly Golem + Werewolf to neutralize magic. And for the rest...heal or atk?
Mmmm...let's attack it with all! I want to use my Gladiator card Marisol Contuna who has 4 ATK and reach hability, Silvershield Knight to boost melee And cave Slugh to do more damage.

Las probabilidades de que use otro equipo de Agua/Magia son altas, así que hagamos una estrategia pensando en eso.

With this ruleset there is only melee and range avaible to use, and with that three splinters i'am very sure that my opponet could use monsters with sneak or opportunity so i decided to use Daria with Life splinter and put Djinn Chwalla in the botton line. Also i added some "fillers" monster as Pelacor Conjurer, Chicken and creeping ozze, in the meantime i hope that Cave Slugh be enough to do damage.
...Oh no! RIP. I did not take into account the damage that a Sand worm could cause

Con este conjunto de reglas solo hay cuerpo a cuerpo y rango y con esas tres astillas estoy muy seguro de que mi oponente podría usar monstruos con furtividad u oportunidad, así que decidí usar Daria con astilla de vida y poner a Djinn Chwalla en la línea de fondo. También agregué algunos monstruos "rellenos" como Pelacor Conjurer, Chicken y creeping ozze, mientras tanto espero que Cave Slugh sea suficiente para hacer daño.
...Oh no! No tomé en cuenta el daño que podría causar un Sand worm.

A lot of people like to use magic when Target practice is on, so i usually put Oshannus in the second position and Sea monster in the first just becasue Sea monster probabbly will receive a bit of damage each turn.
My opponent decided to use a similar composition, however he had a level 3 Sea monster that has 1 point more of HP and speed than mine which is lv 1, that HP allows that instead of healing 2 HP each turn, he heals 3 x_x,

A mucha gente le gusta usar magia cuando el conjunto de reglas de Target practice está activado, por lo que normalmente pongo a Oshannus en la segunda posición y al monstruo marino en la primera solo porque el monstruo marino probablemente recibirá un poco de daño en cada turno.
Mi oponente decidió usar una composición similar, sin embargo el tenía a un Sea monster de nivel 3 que tiene 1 + de velocidad y 1 + de vida, eso último permite que en lugar de curarse 2 de HP cada turno, se cure 3 x_x.

One of my opponents "ran away" so in the end I had 3 wins and 3 losses ... meh. At least I'm closer to buying another pack of Gladious cards, i need about 400 more merits.

Uno de mis oponentes "huyó", así que al final tuve 3 victorias y 3 derrotas...meh. Al menos estoy más cerca de comprarme otro paquete de cartas Gladious, me faltan unos 400 méritos más.

Regarding the guild, we got the 3th place! That is nice!, next time will go for the first spot for sure!

En cuanto al gremio, obtuvimos el tercer lugar! Eso es genial. A la siguiente seguro si llegamos al primer lugar!
