Little League Ruleset - Una estrategia poderosa con Xenith Monk, Tide Bitter, River Nymph & Angelic Mandarin [Es/En]

¡Saludos comunidad! El reto de esta semana es sobre una regla de batalla que sólo permite utilizar invocadores y unidades con un costo de maná igual a 4 puntos o menos. En la siguiente sección se explicará más a detalle, por lo que tener en cuenta este aspecto en el análisis para formar nuestras estrategias, es un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de las mismas. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Agua, el invocador Kelya Frendul y las unidades Xenith Monk, Tide Biter, Merdaali Guardian, River Nymph, Angelic Mandarin y Mar Toren Seeker para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Little League es una regla que sólo permite utilizar invocadores y unidades con un costo de maná igual a 4 puntos o menos en la batalla.

Entonces, conociendo estos detalles, es importante disponer de invocadores y unidades que cumplan las condiciones, al igual que conocer las estrategias más adecuadas para utilizar bajo estas circunstancias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 29 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir invocadores con un costo de maná de 4 puntos o menos. Dejándonos una cantidad de maná restante suficiente para las unidades adecuadas para nuestra estrategia.

La regla “Little League” ya la expliqué a detalle en la sección anterior. Por otra parte, Equalizer, es una regla que iguala los puntos de vida de todas las unidades a la cantidad máxima de vida que tenga una unidad en alguno de los equipos.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Agua, ya que cuenta con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen daño melee y ranged. También cuenta con habilidades como: “Heal”, “Void”, “Magic Reflect”, “Shield”, “Reflection Shield”, “True Strike”, “Tank Heal”, “Repair”, “Strengthen”, “Cleanse”, “Amplify”, “Swiftness”, “Triage”, “Silence”, “Snipe”, “Dodge”, “Phase”, entre otras y con un invocador que incrementa en 1 punto la velocidad y armadura del equipo.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de daño. Es por ello que decidí elegir al invocador Kelya Frendul, ya que incrementa en 1 punto la velocidad y armadura del equipo.

Xenith Monk fue el tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, sus puntos de vida y velocidad. También posee las habilidades “Void”, “Magic Reflect” y “Heal”, las cuales le permiten resistir y combatir el daño mágico.

Tide Biter apoya al tanque con su ataque desde la segunda línea, esto es posible gracias a la habilidad “Reach”. Además, “Reflection Shield” y “True Strike” le permiten proteger al resto del equipo de ataques con “Blast” y acertar cada ataque.

Merdaali Guardian ofrece soporte al equipo mediante las habilidades “Tank Heal”, “Repair” y “Strengthen”. Permitiéndoles resistir un poco más el daño enemigo.

River Nymph proporciona cierta ventaja al equipo al incrementar su velocidad en 1 punto mediante la habilidad “Swiftness”. Además, “Amplify” y “Cleanse” le permiten a Xenith Monk retornar más daño mágico y resistir los efectos negativos.

Angelic Mandarin reduce el daño mágico enemigo en 1 punto mediante la habilidad “Silence” y también da soporte el equipo mediante “Triage”.

Mar Toren Seeker contribuye debilitando a la segunda línea enemiga mediante la habilidad “Snipe”. También protege al resto del equipo de los ataques tipo “Sneak” del oponente, “Dodge” y “Phase” incrementan su capacidad de evasión.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Kelya Frendul y las unidades Xenith Monk, Tide Biter, Merdaali Guardian, River Nymph, Angelic Mandarin y Mar Toren Seeker, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 3 de la ronda 5, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Xenith Monk y Tide Biter defendieron muy bien las primeras posiciones, esto fue posible gracias al apoyo y contribución de Merdaali Guardian, River Nymph, Angelic Mandarin y Mar Toren Seeker. Cabe destacar que Mar Toren Seeker evadió elegantemente los ataques Sneaks enemigos.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con una fuerte ofensiva mágica y resistencia al daño melee. Además, que incluya habilidades como: “Tank Heal”, “Heal”, “Cleanse”, “Immunity”, “Shield”, “Repair”, “Protect”, “Poison”, “Affliction”, “Demoralize”, “Headwinds”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con suficientes habilidades de soporte, por lo que fue debilitado rápidamente.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Ranked battle in the Modern format, focusing my analysis on explaining how I used the Water Splinter, the summoner Kelya Frendul and the units Xenith Monk, Tide Biter, Merdaali Guardian, River Nymph, Angelic Mandarin and Mar Toren Seeker to be consistent with the battle rules present and the skills I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the strategy proposed.

So, knowing these details, it is important to have summoners and units that meet the conditions, as well as knowing the most appropriate strategies to use under these circumstances.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Mana limit equal to 29 points, this amount allows us to choose summoners with a mana cost of 4 points or less. Leaving us a sufficient amount of remaining mana for the right units for our strategy.

So, taking into account all these aspects, I decided to use the Water Splinter, since it has units with good stats, among them, good melee and ranged damage. It also has abilities such as: "Heal", "Void", "Magic Reflect", "Shield", "Reflection Shield", "True Strike", "Tank Heal", "Repair", "Strengthen", "Cleanse", "Amplify", "Swiftness", "Triage", "Silence", "Snipe", "Dodge", "Phase", among others, and a summoner that increases the team's speed and armor by 1 point.

Let's talk about the team and its strategy. Given the circumstances, it was obvious to use any kind of damage. That's why I decided to choose the summoner Kelya Frendul, since it increases the team's speed and armor by 1 point.

Xenith Monk was the tank in this opportunity, since he has good stats, among them, his life points and speed. He also has the "Void", "Magic Reflect" and "Heal" abilities, which allow him to resist and combat magic damage.

Tide Biter supports the tank with its attack from the second line, this is possible thanks to the "Reach" ability. In addition, "Reflection Shield" and "True Strike" allow him to protect the rest of the team from "Blast" attacks and hit every attack.

Merdaali Guardian offers support to the team through the abilities "Tank Heal", "Repair" and "Strengthen". Allowing them to resist enemy damage a little more.

River Nymph provides some advantage to the team by increasing their speed by 1 point through the "Swiftness" skill. In addition, "Amplify" and "Cleanse" allow Xenith Monk to return more magic damage and resist negative effects.

Angelic Mandarin reduces enemy magic damage by 1 point through the "Silence" skill and also supports the team through "Triage".

Mar Toren Seeker contributes by weakening the enemy second line with the "Snipe" skill. It also protects the rest of the team from the opponent's "Sneak" attacks, "Dodge" and "Phase" increase their evasion ability.

As I mentioned before, choosing the summoner Kelya Frendul and the units Xenith Monk, Tide Biter, Merdaali Guardian, River Nymph, Angelic Mandarin and Mar Toren Seeker was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Note how by turn 3 of round 5, the enemy team was almost down. Xenith Monk and Tide Biter defended very well the first positions, this was possible thanks to the support and contribution of Merdaali Guardian, River Nymph, Angelic Mandarin and Mar Toren Seeker. It is worth mentioning that Mar Toren Seeker elegantly evaded the enemy Sneaks attacks.

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, good offense, and consistency with the present rule set.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy team that has a strong magical offense and resistance to melee damage. In addition, it should include abilities such as: "Tank Heal", "Heal", "Cleanse", "Immunity", "Shield", "Repair", "Protect", "Poison", "Affliction", "Demoralize", "Headwinds", among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team did not have enough support skills, so it was quickly weakened.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we must not only focus on the statistics and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
