¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana les hablaré un poco sobre mi experiencia en el interesante universo de Splinterlands.

Iniciando desde cómo lo conocí, cuánto tiempo tengo en el juego, cuánto tiempo le dedico al día, Qué he logrado y qué quiero lograr dentro del juego y algunas recomendaciones para personas que deseen iniciar en el enganchante universo de Splinterlands.

En el Boom de los juegos cripto en el año 2021, estuve buscando entre los tantos proyectos que existían para iniciar en alguno, ya que estaba bastante interesado. Para ese entonces, uno de los juegos más populares era “Axie Infinity" pero requería de una inversión un poco elevada para iniciar, lo que no se ajustaba a mi presupuesto. Además de eso, en vista de que los juegos cripto era un área pionera en ese entonces, había que buscar y evaluar los proyectos con lupa, ya que muchos se convirtieron en estafa.

Después de semanas de búsqueda, encontré tres canales en Youtube que hablaban sobre un juego de cartas coleccionables llamado “Splinterlands”. En el cual, las cartas son NFTs y puedes usarlas para jugar, tradear con ellas e incluso ganar Tokens que podías usar para comerciar dentro del juego y generar alguna ganancia.

Splinterlands llamó mucho mi atención para ese entonces, ya que me pareció un juego con una esencia sencilla pero con un potencial inmenso. Por lo que decidí continuar documentándome más sobre el proyecto para posteriormente iniciar en él en el mes de agosto del año 2021.

He estado en Splinterlands desde hace 2 años, muchas cosas han cambiado hasta ahora. Antes sólo existía un formato, lo que se conoce como “Salvaje” actualmente. Sólo se podía comerciar en el juego con el Token DEC o Créditos, ya que para ese entonces, el Airdrop del Token SPS estaba en pleno proceso. Además, la cantidad de cofres a ganar tanto diario como a final de temporada era fija, es decir, independientemente de cuánto jugaras, siempre obtendrías una cantidad específica de cofres dependiendo de la liga y el nivel en el que te encontraras. Todo eso fue cambiando poco a poco, hasta lo que conocemos hoy en día.

En mi trayecto, estuve jugando varios meses sin pertenecer a un clan. Hasta que en un proceso de reclutamiento, ingresé a mi primer clan en el juego, el cual se llama “Bloody Shamans”. El mismo pertenece al creador de contenido Fósforo Gaming. Mi paso por Bloody Shamans fue bastante agradable, conocí a personas muy solidarias y con una gran disposición para compartir sus experiencias, incluso más allá del juego como tal. Actualmente, me encuentro en otro clan, el cual se llama “Death Squad Cuba”, el cual también cuenta con excelentes personas que siempre ven más allá para superar los obstáculos.

Dedico entre 1 o 2 horas al día a Splinterlands pero distribuidas a lo largo del día, ya que reparto ese tiempo entre la revisión de los alquileres de cartas y SPS, las Brawls (Guerra de Clanes), el rankeo diario y la creación de mis publicaciones para los concursos de Splinterlands. Ah! y para leer las noticias semanales también.

Hasta los momentos he podido subir a nivel de la liga de Plata a muchas cartas. E incluso a través de las dinámicas de Splinterlands como lo fué SplinterlandsTV, logré ganar cartas muy interesantes como por ejemplo: 1 Hero Of Beyond en su versión dorada. Por otra parte, también he aprendido y mejorado mi estilo de juego en este tiempo, gracias a las Brawls y el rankeo diario.

Mi meta es poco a poco seguir adquiriendo más cartas hasta que mi colección esté más completa y no sea necesario alquilar tantas cartas. Sin embargo, en vista de la gran variedad de cartas que existen, alquilar es una opción que no se puede descartar. Cabe destacar que mi objetivo es crear una colección para la liga de Plata y en un futuro, quizás explorar ligas más altas por mera curiosidad.

La mejor recomendación que podría compartir con alguna persona que desee iniciar en este interesante mundo de Splinterlands, es que primero se documente sobre el juego, vea tutoriales, gameplays, incluso juegue la versión de prueba para que verifique si le gusta y se adapta a su personalidad. Que se una a la comunidad a través de las diferentes redes sociales y haga todas las preguntas posibles antes de tomar una decisión. De tal manera que pueda crear una perspectiva más acertada y realista del proyecto. Así podrá iniciar con una mayor claridad y un conocimiento más pleno sobre el alcance y el potencial de Splinterlands.

Greetings community! In this week's challenge I will tell you a little about my experience in the interesting universe of Splinterlands.

Starting from how I met him, how long I have in the game, how much time I spend a day, what I have achieved and what I want to achieve within the game and some recommendations for people who want to start in the engaging universe of Splinterlands.

In the Boom of crypto games in 2021, I was looking among the many projects that existed to start one of them, as I was quite interested. By that time, one of the most popular games was "Axie Infinity" but it required a bit high investment to start, which didn't fit my budget. On top of that, in view of the fact that crypto gaming was a pioneering area back then, you had to search and evaluate projects with a magnifying glass, as many turned out to be scams.

After weeks of searching, I found three YouTube channels that talked about a collectible card game called "Splinterlands". In which, the cards are NFTs and you can use them to play, trade with them and even earn Tokens that you could use to trade within the game and generate some profit.

Splinterlands caught my attention at that time, as it seemed to me a game with a simple essence but with immense potential. So I decided to continue documenting more about the project to later start on it in the month of August 2021.

I have been in Splinterlands for 2 years now, many things have changed so far. There used to be only one format, what is known as "Wild" nowadays. You could only trade in the game with the DEC Token or Credits, since by that time, the Airdrop of the SPS Token was in full swing. Also, the amount of chests to be earned both daily and at the end of the season was fixed, that is, regardless of how much you played, you would always get a specific amount of chests depending on the league and level you were in. All that changed little by little, until what we know today.

In my journey, I was playing for several months without belonging to a clan. Until in a recruitment process, I joined my first clan in the game, which is called "Bloody Shamans". It belongs to the content creator Fósforo Gaming. My time in Bloody Shamans was quite pleasant, I met very supportive people and with a great willingness to share their experiences, even beyond the game as such. Currently, I am in another clan, which is called "Death Squad Cuba", which also has excellent people who always look beyond to overcome obstacles.

I dedicate between 1 or 2 hours a day to Splinterlands but distributed throughout the day, as I divide that time between reviewing card rentals and SPS, Brawls (Clan Wars), daily rankings and creating my posts for Splinterlands contests. Oh, and to read the weekly news as well.

So far I have been able to upgrade many cards to Silver league level. And even through the dynamics of Splinterlands as SplinterlandsTV, I managed to win very interesting cards such as: 1 Hero Of Beyond in its golden version. On the other hand, I have also learned and improved my playing style in this time, thanks to the Brawls and daily rankings.

My goal is to gradually keep acquiring more cards until my collection is more complete and I don't need to rent so many cards. However, in view of the wide variety of cards out there, renting is an option that cannot be ruled out. It should be noted that my goal is to build a collection for the Silver league and in the future, perhaps explore higher leagues out of mere curiosity.

The best recommendation I could share with someone who wants to start in this interesting world of Splinterlands, is to first document about the game, watch tutorials, gameplays, even play the trial version to see if you like it and if it fits your personality. Join the community through the different social networks and ask as many questions as possible before making a decision. So that you can create a more accurate and realistic perspective of the project. Then you can start with greater clarity and fuller knowledge about the scope and potential of Splinterlands.
