¡Saludos Comunidad de Hive! Soy Antonio Gamboa, un entusiasta de la tecnología y el cine. Tengo 29 años. Soy de Venezuela, de la ciudad de Maracay, estado Aragua.
¡Greetings Hive Community! I'm Antonio Gamboa, a technology and film enthusiast. I am 29 years old. I'm from Venezuela, from the city of Maracay, Aragua state.
Actualmente, me dedico a trabajar con mi familia en el área de distribución de alimentos, mientras realizo mi trabajo de grado de la carrera “Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones” que estudié en la Universidad de Carabobo. Trabajar con mi familia ha sido una experiencia gratificante y constructiva, me ha permitido conocer el área del comercio, la cual es muy aplicada en mi país, por ser la fuente de ingresos para muchos independientemente de su profesión. Además, me ha ayudado a desarrollar las aptitudes necesarias para el día a día.
Currently, I am working with my family in the area of food distribution, while I do my degree work of the "Telecommunications Engineering" career that I studied at the University of Carabobo. Working with my family has been a rewarding and constructive experience, it has allowed me to learn about the area of commerce, which is very applied in my country, as it is the source of income for many people regardless of their profession. In addition, it has helped me to develop the necessary skills for the day to day.

Por otra parte, como les mencioné al comienzo, mis principales intereses o hobbies en el transcurso de los años, han sido la tecnología y el cine. Siempre he sentido curiosidad por los avances tanto de Hardware y Software en dispositivos como: Computadoras, Celulares y sus periféricos. Disfruto mucho el tiempo que dedico en utilizar estos dispositivos, bien sea para fines académicos, laborales o de entretenimiento, siempre explorando en la inmensidad del Internet, buscando aprovechar su máximo potencial. En cuanto al cine, me encanta ver series y películas, realmente lo disfruto mucho, existe una gran diversidad de historias interesantes que la vida se nos queda corta para conocerlas todas. Mis géneros favoritos son: Ciencia ficción, Drama-Thriller Policial y Documentales.
On the other hand, as I mentioned at the beginning, my main interests or hobbies over the years have been technology and cinema. I have always been curious about the advances in Hardware and Software in devices such as: Computers, Cell Phones and their peripherals. I really enjoy the time I spend using these devices, whether for academic, work or entertainment purposes, always exploring the vastness of the Internet, seeking to take advantage of its full potential. As for movies, I love watching series and movies. I really enjoy it a lot, there is a great diversity of interesting stories that life is too short to know them all. My favorite genres are: Science Fiction, Drama-Police Thriller and Documentaries.
También dedico parte de mi tiempo libre a un par de actividades que aunque no siempre han sido de mi interés, con el tiempo he aprendido a apreciarlas. Las cuales son: la lectura y el ciclismo, con respecto a la lectura, tomé la iniciativa de practicarla con más frecuencia cuando aún cursaba materias presenciales en la Universidad, mi motivación fue superar las debilidades que tenía en esa aptitud para ese entonces. Comencé con libros que me llamaban la atención, como por ejemplo: “Los Juegos del Hambre” que es de ficción y otros sobre crecimiento personal, tales como: “Esto se acabó” y “A veces cupido tiene mala puntería” de Alberto Barradas, y “El lado positivo del fracaso” de John C. Maxwell. Y en cuanto al ciclismo, mi interés por conseguir una bicicleta creció cuando se agudizó la crisis de la gasolina en Venezuela para ese entonces su uso había tomado popularidad pero realmente pude conseguir una después de varios meses, ya para ese entonces la situación con la gasolina se había normalizado. De verdad estaba muy emocionado, pues por primera vez tenía una bicicleta un poco más sofisticada, de aluminio, con cambios, rines reforzados tamaño 29’’, en realidad la considero muy bonita, me gusta la combinación de colores que tiene. Cabe destacar que es usada pero en buenas condiciones. Los primeros días aprovechaba cada día libre que tenía para salir en ella, emocionado en aprender a utilizar los cambios, paseaba por la ciudad un rato en las mañanas, actualmente lo continúo haciendo pero los fines de semana, me gusta mucho porque ayuda a desarrollar y mantener la resistencia física.
I also dedicate part of my free time to a couple of activities that although they have not always been of my interest, over time I have learned to appreciate them. These are: reading and cycling. With respect to reading, I took the initiative to practice it more frequently when I was still studying subjects at the University, my motivation was to overcome the weaknesses I had in that aptitude at that time. I started with books that caught my attention, such as: "The Hunger Games" which is fiction and others about personal growth, such as: "This is over" and "Sometimes cupid has bad aim" by Alberto Barradas, and "The positive side of failure" by John C. Maxwell. And as for cycling, my interest in getting a bicycle grew when the gasoline crisis in Venezuela worsened, by that time its use had become popular but I was really able to get one after several months, by that time the situation with gasoline had normalized. I was really excited, because for the first time I had a bike a little more sophisticated, aluminum, with gears, reinforced wheels size 29'', actually I consider it very nice, I like the combination of colors it has. It should be noted that it is used but in good condition. The first days I took advantage of every free day I had to go out on it, excited to learn how to use the gears, I rode around the city for a while in the mornings, now I continue doing it but on weekends, I like it a lot because it helps to develop and maintain physical endurance.
El auge de las Criptomonedas también llamó mi atención por lo que a comienzos del año pasado me propuse a aprender sobre ellas. Empecé buscando canales en Youtube que explicaran los conceptos básicos o fundamentos, encontrando los siguientes: “Value Index”, “Sebastian Alvarez Herrera”, “Punto Cripto”, “Marciano Finanzas” y “Alejandro Salomon - Emprendeduro” de los cuales he aprendido mucho, tanto en el aspecto técnico como el fundamental. Conocí y aprendí a utilizar herramientas útiles tales como las webs de “Coinmarketcap” y “Coingecko”, que permiten visualizar la mayoría de los datos de interés respecto a las Criptomonedas, las billeteras calientes como: “Metamask” y “TrustWallet”, Intercambios Centralizados y Descentralizados tales como: “Binance” y “PancakeSwap”, Software para realizar análisis técnico tales como: “Tradingview” y “Atani”, así como algunos indicadores técnicos para evaluar tendencias y puntos de entrada/salida tales como: “EMA” (Media Móvil Exponencial), “BB” (Bandas de Bollinger), “RSI” (Índice de Fuerza Relativa), “MFI” (Índice de Flujo de dinero) y el retroceso de fibonacci. De verdad me siento agradecido y contento con lo aprendido y lo que falta por aprender, cuando me dí cuenta ya había creado un nuevo hábito sobre la marcha, me mantengo atento al contenido de dichos canales a diario.
The rise of Cryptocurrencies also caught my attention so early last year I set out to learn about them. I started looking for channels on Youtube that explained the basic concepts or fundamentals, finding the following: "Value Index", "Sebastian Alvarez Herrera", "Punto Cripto", "Marciano Finanzas" and "Alejandro Salomon - Emprendeduro" from which I learned a lot, both technical and fundamental. I met and learned to use useful tools such as "Coinmarketcap" and "Coingecko" websites, which allow to visualize most of the data of interest regarding Cryptocurrencies, hot wallets such as: "Metamask" and "TrustWallet", Centralized and Decentralized Exchanges such as: "Binance" and "PancakeSwap", Software to perform technical analysis such as: "Tradingview" and "Atani", as well as some technical indicators to evaluate trends and entry/exit points such as: "EMA" (Exponential Moving Average), "BB" (Bollinger Bands), "RSI" (Relative Strength Index), "MFI" (Money Flow Index) and fibonacci retracement. I really feel grateful and happy with what I have learned and what I have yet to learn. When I realized I had already created a new habit on the fly, I keep an eye on the content of these channels on a daily basis.
Asimismo, también estuve investigando sobre formas de ganar Criptomonedas, de las cuales encontré las “Faucets”, un “Simulador de Minería” y una “Página de Encuestas”. De las cuales usé “Faucet Crypto”, “RollerCoin” y “Dentavox” respectivamente. Actualmente, las uso con menos frecuencia porque demandan mucho tiempo. Para ese entonces también estaba el auge de los juegos “Play2Earn”, como por ejemplo: “Axie Infinity” pero requería de una inversión que sobrepasaba mi presupuesto, por lo que no fue una opción para mí. En mi búsqueda por más alternativas, en el canal de YouTube de “CryptoShark” actualmente “WhaleFinance”, conocí sobre “Splinterlands”, un juego de cartas coleccionables, en el que las cartas son “NFTs”, y puedes obtenerlas jugando al igual que los token “DEC” y “ SPS”. Después de informarme un poco más sobre Splinterlands, decidí crear mi cuenta, y sobre la marcha de mi aprendizaje, conocí su comunidad en Telegram, de la que puedo contarles que es solidaria y abierta a nuevos usuarios, con una gran disposición para instruir, @steamdan y @elclements son unos de los administradores que están atentos a cualquier novedad, bien sea resolviendo dudas o compartiendo experiencias, incluso en mis primeros meses en el juego, @elclements me prestó la carta legendaria “Lir Deepswimmer” durante una temporada. También, en mi busqueda para conocer más sobre Splinterlands, encontré el canal de YouTube de “Fósforo Gaming” (@furenze), del cual aprendí estretegías, curiosidades y novedades sobre el juego. Además de que actualmente soy miembro de su clan, llamado “Bloody Shamans”. Asimismo, el canal de @splinterdany también me ayudó a aprender sobre el juego, incluso participé en sus dinámicas de compartirle batallas, y mostró dos de ellas en sus videos, comentó que la estretegía de la última batalla le gustó. Cabe destacar que de su canal no sólo aprendí sobre Splinterlands sino que también conocí sobre Hive y sus Dapps, tales como: “Peakd” y “3Speak”, en las cuales se puede crear contenido de forma escrita y audiovisual sobre diversos nichos, y monetizar desde el primer día en comparación a otras plataformas.

Also, in my quest to learn more about Splinterlands, I found the YouTube channel of "Fósforo Gaming" (@furenze), from which I learned strategies, curiosities and news about the game. Besides, I am currently a member of their clan, called "Bloody Shamans". Also, the channel of @splinterdany also helped me to learn about the game, I even participated in his dynamics of sharing battles, and he showed two of them in his videos, he commented that he liked the strategy of the last battle. It should be noted that from his channel not only I learned about Splinterlands but also about Hive and its Dapps, such as: "Peakd" and "3Speak", in which you can create written and audiovisual content on various niches, and monetize from day one compared to other platforms.
