¡Saludos comunidad! El reto de esta semana es sobre una regla de batalla que anula los efectos de los invocadores. En la siguiente sección se explicará más a detalle. Por lo que tener en cuenta este aspecto en el análisis para formar nuestras estrategias, es un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de las mismas. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo combiné los Splinters Dragón y Tierra, el invocador Kretch Tallevor, los monstruos Naga Brute, Dumacke Orc y Dr. Blight para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Silenced Summoners es una regla que anula los efectos de los invocadores, bien sean los buffs, debuffs o habilidades que otorgan. Por esta razón, es recomendable utilizar invocadores con un coste de maná bajo para aprovechar mejor los puntos restantes en la elección de los monstruos adecuados.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Even Stevens es una regla que sólo permite usar monstruos con un coste de maná Par, no aplica para invocadores. Por otra parte, la regla Silenced Summoners ya se explicó a detalle en la sección anterior.

Límite de maná igual a 42 puntos, como se explicó en la sección anterior, lo recomendable es utilizar invocadores con un costo de maná bajo con la finalidad de poder elegir los monstruos adecuados con los puntos restantes.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí combinar a los Splinters Dragón y Tierra, ya que cuentan con monstruos que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen daño mágico y melee. Asimismo, cuentan con habilidades como: “Void Armor”, “Thorns”, “Heal”, “Tank Heal”, “Affliction”, “Shield”, “Retaliate”, “Camouflage”, “Poison”, entre otras y con un invocador que tiene un costo de maná de 3 puntos.

Hablemos sobre el equipo, y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de daño. Sin embargo, por la presencia de la regla “Silenced Summoners” decidí usar al invocador Kretch Tallevor, ya que tiene un costo de maná de 3 puntos.

Naga Brute fue el tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas y las habilidades: “Void Armor” y “Thorns”. Las cuales permiten que el daño mágico primero golpee la armadura y hacer 2 puntos de daño cuando recibe ataques de tipo melee.

Kron The Undying ocupó la segunda posición para contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea, y proteger al resto del equipo en caso de que el tanque muera.

Goblin Psychic ocupó la tercera posición con el propósito de contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea y dar soporte al tanque mediante su habilidad “Tank Heal”. Así mismo, da la posibilidad de tomar ventaja de su habilidad “Affliction”.

Magi of Chaos ocupó la cuarta posición para contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea.

Dumacke Orc ocupó la quinta posición con la finalidad de proteger al resto del equipo de posibles ataques “Sneak” del enemigo. Sus estadísticas y la habilidad “Shield” le permiten resistir un poco más el daño melee y así mismo, su habilidad “Retaliate” le permite tomar ventaja ya que tiene la posibilidad de contraatacar.

Dr. Blight ocupó la última posición para contribuir con su daño desde la segunda línea y proporcionar una ventaja cuando aplique sus habilidades: “Affliction” y “Poison” al enemigo.

Entonces, explicada la formación, es importante resaltar como Naga Brute y Dumacke Orc juegan un rol tan importante, protegiendo al equipo en la primera y segunda línea respectivamente.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Kretch Tallevor, y los monstruos Naga Brute y Ducmacke Orc fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 4 de la ronda 4, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Naga Brute y Dumacke Orc cumplieron su objetivo de proteger al resto del equipo para debilitar al enemigo y tomar ventaja en la batalla. Por otra parte, Kron The Undying, Goblin Psychic, Magi Of Chaos y Dr. Blight trabajaron muy bien en conjunto hasta abatir al enemigo.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es una ofensiva enemiga con un daño elevado, resistencia al daño mágico y que incluya habilidades como: “Void”, “Magic Reflect”, “Shatter”, “Affliction”, “Amplify”, “Poison”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el daño de la ofensiva enemiga no fue suficiente para abatir a mis monstruos en las primeras posiciones. Así mismo, su daño hacia mi segunda línea. Tampoco incluyó habilidades de soporte como: “Tank Heal” y “Heal”.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Ranked battle in the Modern format, focusing my analysis on explaining how I combined the Dragon and Earth Splinters, the summoner Kretch Tallevor, the monsters Naga Brute, Dumacke Orc and Dr. Blight to be consistent with the battle rules present and the skills I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the strategy proposed.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Let's talk about the team, and the strategy it conforms. Given the circumstances, it was obvious to use any type of damage. However, due to the presence of the "Silenced Summoners" rule, I decided to use the summoner Kretch Tallevor, since he has a mana cost of 3 points.

Naga Brute was the tank this time, since he has good stats and the abilities: "Void Armor" and "Thorns". Which allow magic damage to first hit the armor and do 2 points of damage when receiving melee attacks.

Kron The Undying took the second position to contribute his damage from the second line, and protect the rest of the team in case the tank dies.

Goblin Psychic took the third position in order to contribute with his damage from the second line and support the tank with his "Tank Heal" ability. It also gives the possibility to take advantage of its "Affliction" ability.

Magi of Chaos took the fourth position to contribute with its damage from the second line.

Dumacke Orc took the fifth position in order to protect the rest of the team from possible "Sneak" attacks from the enemy. His stats and "Shield" ability allow him to resist a little more melee damage and his "Retaliate" ability allows him to take advantage of the counterattack.

Dr. Blight occupied the last position to contribute with his damage from the second line and provide an advantage when applying his "Affliction" and "Poison" abilities to the enemy.

So, having explained the formation, it is important to highlight how Naga Brute and Dumacke Orc play such an important role, protecting the team in the first and second line respectively.

As I mentioned before, choosing the summoner Kretch Tallevor, and the monsters Naga Brute and Ducmacke Orc was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Notice how by turn 4 of round 4, the enemy team was almost down. Naga Brute and Dumacke Orc fulfilled their goal of protecting the rest of the team to weaken the enemy and take advantage in the battle. On the other hand, Kron The Undying, Goblin Psychic, Magi Of Chaos and Dr. Blight worked very well together until the enemy was down.

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, a good offensive, and coherence with the present rule set.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy offensive with high damage, resistance to magic damage and including abilities such as: "Void", "Magic Reflect", "Shatter", "Affliction", "Amplify", "Poison", among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the damage of the enemy offensive was not enough to take down my monsters in the first positions. Likewise, their damage to my second line. It also did not include support abilities such as: "Tank Heal" and "Heal".

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the stats and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
