Una estrategia interesante con Quora Towershead & Mycelic Slipspawn en una batalla con Wands Out [Es/En]

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia con el Splinter de Tierra. La cual considero una excelente opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná alto y con la regla “Wands Out”. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranged de la liga de Oro en el formato Salvaje, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Tierra, al anchor Lobb Lowland y a las unidades Quora Towershead, Goblin Psychic, Spirit Hoarder y Mycelic Slipspawn para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 55 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir anchors con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Dejándonos con una cantidad de maná restante suficiente para elegir unidades fuertes.

Wands Out es una regla que sólo permite utilizar unidades mágicas en la batalla. Por otra parte, Four’s a Crowd, sólo permite invocar a 4 unidades. Mientras que, Deflection Field, otorga a todas las unidades la habilidad “Deflect”.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Tierra, ya que cuenta con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen ataque mágico y melee. También cuenta con habilidades como: “Heal”, “Bloodlust”, ”Tank Heal” , “Immunity”, “Taunt”, “Triage”, entre otras y con un anchor que reduce en 1 punto la velocidad del equipo enemigo, y permite utilizar una unidad de tipo Gladius en la batalla.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso del ataque mágico. Es por ello que decidí utilizar al anchor Lobb Lowland, ya que reduce en 1 punto la velocidad del equipo enemigo, y permite utilizar una unidad de tipo Gladius en la batalla.

Quora Towershead se encargó de defender la primera posición en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, sus puntos de ataque mágico, melee, vida y velocidad. También posee las habilidades “Heal”, “Immunity” y “Bloodlust”, la cuales le permiten resistir e incrementar considerablemente sus estadísticas.

Por otra parte, Mycelic Slipspawn, se encarga de canalizar todo el daño de la segunda línea enemiga en ella, a través de la habilidad “Taunt”. Esto permite al resto del equipo debilitar al enemigo sin recibir tanto daño.

Es por esta razón que Goblin Psychic y Spirit Hoarder juegan un papel importante en la estrategia, ya que además de contribuir con su ataque mágico, se encargan de proveer soporte a través de las habilidades “Triage” y “Tank Heal”. Lo que les permite a Mycelic y Quora, resistir mucho más.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al anchor Lobb Lowland y a las unidades Quora Towershead, Goblin Psychic, Spirit Hoarder y Mycelic Slipspawn, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 2 de la ronda 4, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Quora Towershead y Mycelic Slipspawn defendieron muy bien sus posiciones. Cabe destacar que esto fue posible gracias al soporte proporcionado por Goblin Psychic y Spirit Hoarder. Es interesante cómo a pesar de que el equipo enemigo contaba con la protección de la habilidad “Void”, no logró ganar la batalla.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con resistencia a los ataques mágicos y melee, e incluya habilidades como: “Shield”, “Void”, “Protect”, “Repair”, “Heal”, “Tank Heal”, “Triage”, “Demoralize”, “Silence”, “Magic Reflect”, “Thorns”, “Amplify”, “Affliction”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con las habilidades de soporte suficientes, y la capacidad de resistencia de su equipo no era muy elevada.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Gold League Ranged battle in the Wild format, focusing my analysis in explaining how I used the Earth Splinter, the anchor Lobb Lowland and the units Quora Towershead, Goblin Psychic, Spirit Hoarder and Mycelic Slipspawn to be coherent with the battle rules present and the abilities I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the strategy proposed.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

It is for this reason that Goblin Psychic and Spirit Hoarder play an important role in the strategy, since besides contributing with their magic attack, they are in charge of providing support through the “Triage” and “Tank Heal” abilities. This allows Mycelic and Quora to resist much more.

As I mentioned before, choosing the anchor Lobb Lowland and the units Quora Towershead, Goblin Psychic, Spirit Hoarder and Mycelic Slipspawn was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Notice how by turn 2 of round 4, the enemy team was almost down. Quora Towershead and Mycelic Slipspawn defended their positions very well. It is worth noting that this was possible thanks to the support provided by Goblin Psychic and Spirit Hoarder. It is interesting how even though the enemy team had the protection of the “Void” ability, they did not manage to win the battle.

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, a good offense, and coherence with the present set of rules.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy team that has resistance to magic and melee attacks, and includes abilities such as: “Shield”, “Void”, “Protect”, “Repair”, “Heal”, “Tank Heal”, “Triage”, “Demoralize”, “Silence”, “Magic Reflect”, “Thorns”, “Amplify”, “Affliction”, among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team did not have sufficient support skills, and the resistance capacity of their team was not very high.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the statistics and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
