# Report #16 - Splinter Stats Season 56 Report Card

@apshamilton

I was on holidays the first half of the season with weak internet so I barely played (I hate surrendering due to bad connection). But I managed to play a decent number of games in the second half of the season and got to Diamond I. This appears to be my limit without massive grind these days.

I like to see a nicely positive win/loss ratio. It helps starting lower down.

Rental Report

I've very happy with my rental return from a relatively small number of unused cards. I really only rented things I never use.

SPS Report

TypeAmount Claimed
Airdrop1549.997
Staking Rewards1424.968
NET2974.965

I invested in some extra SPS for the amazing interest rate and am happy with the price appreciate and great interest return. The SPS airdrop is also doing well for me, although I notice that the total amount of Splinterlands assets is increasing faster than my share so it drops a little bit every day.

Given the huge growth of Splinterlands I'm happy that I remain competitive in Diamond League and my Guild is building up with new players.
As an investment Splinterlands has been the best I've every made, even though I didn't actually see it as an investment and just bought cards to make me more competitive and felt a bit guilty about spending money on a game. I justified it to myself that I was only spending HIVE which I was earning by posting, so it was OK.
Little did I expect the enormous growth we've seen.

It is well deserved - Splinterlands is a fantastic game that maintains player interest for years.

I've been playing not so long ago, and I haven't managed to get high yet, but I can't understand the connection with the rewards for battles.

What determines how much DEC you will get for winning?
From the rating (regardless of the League)?
From the ratio of wins/losses?
Exclusively from the League?

I mean, if my rating is 2000, but I'm in the bronze league, will I get less DEC if I switched to silver?
