# Everything is about to change... - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 43 Report Card

Hi everyone!

This report card if for Season 43 (also known as 130) that ended on the 15th of March 2024... and this is the season where the the Ranked Battle Rework was implemented...and as I suspected, I absolutely loved it.

I've got a bunch of high level or max level cards, and have absolutely been struggling with the Silver league grind in Modern because the cards play so differently to what I'm used to in Wild. This is an amazing design that keeps the game super interesting as people level up, but can be pretty frustrating when a deck plays really well in Wild Diamond but terribly in Modern Silver.

I actually thought I would absolutely rocket up the leagues with my maxed cards, and it honestly wasn't the case. I think lots of accounts were in the same boat, and so I was going against lots of other maxed decks in Silver, but I managed to scramble out eventually and I hope to never go back...

I personally love this implementation and I'm so glad it happened.

Significant improvement on my rewards compared to Season 42 which I contribute entirely to the Ranked Battle Rework. I actually didn't get as high as I did as Season 42 (Champion III in Wild and Gold III in Modern) but I got a lot more loot chests.

Really, really pumped with my Win/Loss Ratio in Modern, thank you maxed cards!

So these are my rewards in detail for Season 43:

I actually managed to get the 3 Iziar legendary cards I needed to level up to Level 3 and acquire the Martyr ability this season, which opens up a whole new strategy in the Resurrection ruleset (basically have Iziar die 2 or 3 times to buff a card either side of her). It's definitely the meta for that ruleset and so hopefully I'll stop losing to that exact strategy so much.

379 might be the most cards I've ever received in a season ever. It'll be interesting to see how the new Reward shop with Glint works out... there are still so many reward cards I need to level up, so I'll be hitting those pretty hard.

This was a great season... I haven't managed to keep up momentum in this current season purely for real life reasons, but once things settle down I'm excited to play more. I really am having a pretty good time in the game, I still haven't really played with the new Rebellion Airdrop conflict card Kei yet, so excited to work that into my rotation.
