Hello friends from the @splinterlands community, I come to share with you my entry to the contest number 265 with my version of SPINEBACK TURTLE, a water element card, in this drawing I made my own version using the original art as a reference, I hope you like my work Next I will show you the process of drawing.

• Hola amigos de la comunidad de @splinterlands vengo a compartir con ustedes mi entrada al concurso numero 265 con mi versión de SPINEBACK TURTLE una carta de elemento agua , en este dibujo hice mi propia versión utilizando el arte original como referencia, espero les guste mi trabajo , a continuación les enseñare el proceso de elaboración del dibujo.

Process

STEP 1: Sketch, in the first layer make the sketch of the drawing using the pen tool in red, I use this color because I like it better when drawing since it allows me to see better what I do, I made the sketch using the art of the letter but giving it my personal touch of what I wanted to do in this job.

• PASO 1 : Boceto, en la primera capa realice el boceto del dibujo usando la herramienta pluma en color rojo, uso este color porque me gusta mas al dibujar ya que me deja ver mejor lo que hago, hice el boceto usando como referencia el arte de la carta pero dándole mi toque personal de lo que queria hacer en este trabajo.

STEP 2: LINEART, using another layer I made the lineart, I always try to make my lineart clean because that helps me have more stability when making strokes and gives me more confidence in handling the pencil, I still use the pen tool in black color number 8.

• STEP 2 : LINEART, usando otra capa realice el lineart, siempre intento que mis lineart queden limpios porque eso me ayuda a tener mas estabilidad a la hora de hacer trazos y me da mas confianza en el manejo del lápiz, igual utilice la herramienta pluma en color negro numero 8.

STEP 3: Color, then apply the base color to the drawing using the tones on the card so that my version takes more shape. Once with the base colors I wanted to start adding more details such as shadows and lights.

• PASO 3 : Color, luego aplique el color base en el dibujo usando los tonos de la carta para que mi versión tomara mas forma, una vez con los colores bases quise empezar a agregas mas detalles como las sombras y luces.

I added the shadows to the drawing to give more volume, I also made details on the body like small lines to make a little texture and give a better result.

• Agregue la sombras al dibujo para dar mas volumen, también hice detalles en el cuerpo como líneas pequeñas para hacer un poco de textura y dar un mejor resultado.

To finish I made a very normal but functional background giving more life to the drawing, this drawing is one of my favorites so far I feel that I have improved my technique a little by implementing things that I am learning, I feel that if I continue learning and practicing I will reach a good level of drawing that makes me feel proud, I hope you like my work, we will not read in a next post, thank you very much.

• Para finalizar hice un fondo muy normal pero funcional dándole mas vida al dibujo, este dibujo es uno de mi favoritos hasta ahora siento que he mejorado un poco mi técnica implementando cosas que voy aprendiendo, siento que si sigo aprendiendo y practicando llegare a un buen nivel de dibujo que me haga sentir orgulloso, espero les guste mi trabajo, no leemos en un próximo post, muchas gracias.
