New Degree Programs Launched To Learn How To Play Splinterlands

A number of colleges and universities are setting up Bachelor degree programs for Splinterlands to teach newcomers how to play the popular play 2 earn crypto based game. These universities have felt there is a gap in the market for this program which is a 4 year full time course. Students will learn how to navigate the complex Splinterlands dashboards, learn how to bulk buy cards without spending all their dec in Peak Monsters and in the final year they will learn all about abilities. A 2 year masters program is available if students would like to learn about stacking abilities during battles.

We spoke to Professor Twelve in University of Stanford about the courses.

"We felt the 4 year degree program is an excellent way to educate the students in all the workings of Splinterlands. Those who have been on Steem back in the day learned the basics and built on this education like a mechanic learning how to fix an engine. When the modern turbo engine came in they gradually learnt about electrics and now they are fixing Teslas. It is the same with Splinterlands. Trying to play the game off the bat is too complex for most so we needed a course to suit peoples needs. There they will learn about all things Splinterlands and by the end of the course we will have the student battling it out in the novice leagues and hopefully earning a penny or two every day. Well that's the best case scenario anyway!"

"Above are some of the topics we cover in the degree program," explains Professor Clove.
" This is not exclusive or exhaustive. There are many more tips and tricks we teach our students.
We hope by the end of the 4 years that are students have a good grasp of the whole game because it is rather difficult to break into it. We will start them off in the modern leagues and use some of their grant money to set up a guild and buy some cards. We will then use the battles as case studies so the students can learn rather than to be thrown into the deep end when they are finished college."

We spoke to one student who is partaking in the course. John from Manchester.

"Yeah the game is a minefield if you do not know what you are doing so I have decided to do the full time 4 year course"

"It's the same thing really. I just want to go to college and have a sex life so this was the best course to choose. "
