The sky is blue

Well I am looking out the window and it is grey.

No it is not the sky is blue.

I'm from Denmark, the sky is never blue.

Splinterlands has evolved into the game we know and love and the games developers seem to constantly outdo expectations. However in one section of the games social channels there is always a row going on about something or other. Thankfully Splinterlands has so much going on that there is always someone somewhere arguing about something. Whether it is bots , guild warfare, rewards or tokenomic's , users flock to Splinterlands Mav chat to check out what the latest argument of the day is. Colourful exchanges ensue in which the less technical party ends up getting personnel as they have no comeback to an technical point and rather than admit defeat they just call the other a dumbass. .

Last week it was all about the bots and whether the proposal to ban them from Modern Leagues were a good thing or a bad thing. It evolved like an episode of the Sky Atlantic series Westworld. In Westworld you could not tell the difference between who was a human and who was a robot. When people started voting it was thought that the vote would go through in a landslide but to peoples amazement some of the upper crusts started voting to keep the bots.

The fact that Splinterlands users had Bot "Uncle Tom's" in their midst was a major surprise and uproar ensued. Realising that admiting to being a robot friend some of the fat cats backed down and were forced to hold signs saying "Down with the bots" and ask for forgiveness as they had not known of what they had done.
Discord pitchforks were lowered and the vote went through. All will be revealed soon whether this was a good or bad thing to happen.
The argument to keep the bots was weak at best so shouting won out in the end. A black star of David was digitally added to the bot sympathizers unbeknownst to them and a list was drawn up with the names of these people as everyone could see who voted for or against the motion. They will be picked off one by one over the next couple of months. The assassins' have already been hired.

The argument then moved onto guilds and there were colourful conversations about guild selection. It turned out that there was a bot helping tribes pick their most optimal team as well leaving normallys having to pick quirky teams to win against the robots. Something else happened with the guilds but I wasn't paying attention because Succession came on. During the town hall one of the great developer mentioned that they do indeed know what they are doing because the saltiness was off the charts from the Karens.

"Karen , Just because you were lucky to purchase a couple of gold foil beta cards back in the day does not make your ideas any good." claimed one developer who wished to be unnamed.

"When everything is smooth and there is no arguments she fucks off to Genesis League to see if there are arguments in there". he went on.

Arguments are the least of Genesis Leagues worries, didn't their community plan a hoist in their mav chat"??

Anyway It reminds me of the two old men that attended every funeral in my hometown. They would never miss a funeral
And if nobody died they went to visit the sick in the hospital.
Those kind of people, make you sick.

But we have to get on with it
Rebellion and Land 2.0 next
The whinging and the moaning will appear on the Richter Scale

Mav chat declined to comment as they were too busy whinging that Zyriel is too slow.

Always someone moaning while sitting on their alpha gold foils. It's an outrage the price has gone down from 32k to 20k. An outrage!
