"We Got Shafted" complains Wood Nymph and the Tree

There was trouble in the Earth Splinter last night when Wood Nymph finally came out and said what everyone was thinking. Herself and Earth Elemental saw their price plummet as they looked like the Chaos Legion Cards has replaced them somewhat.
"I am picked to add an additional heal to Flesh Golem and maybe the unicorn" complained Wood Nymph.
"And now there is another guy to do that and he has more attack power than me".
The argument was rebuked by the group as it was put to her that Goblin Psychic costs 2 more mana than her so she will be still selected in battle but Wood Nymph fought back.
"I am only picked in the high mana battles anyway" she said.
*"If you were gonna give someone else the heal ability you could at least have picked a ranged monster and not a miniature Yoda. Mandarlorian is popular this time of year so everyone will be picking him over me. I wanna switch to the life splinter right this instance." *
" That aul biddy Divine Healer has that sown up over there. Best to wade it out to see how you go here first" said Lyanna Natura the voice of reason.

It was at that instance the tree piped up. It took him a while to get the words out.

"I was normally the last man at the back but it looks like that Regal Peryton and that other swamp thing that waves for every bodies attention and takes the hits for the team. What's his name?"

"Well we do not know the gender yet , but we can refer to it as they/ them. I take it you are refering to Mycelic Slipspawn".

"Yes that's the one" says Tree.
"With the Regal he has a seven speed and mycelic has a 10 power. How can I compete with them?? Also those two are magic so can avoid shields. All I have is this silly range attack. You have basically retired me. My price is plummeting and I used to cost alot because I am solid and dependable but these Chaos Legion ruined it all on us."

Obsidean who is the new magic summoner from the Chaos legion wasn't taking any shit.

"Earth you have been stealing a living for the last 4 years and you are as slow as a wet week. Any player that is any good never picks you anyway. It's the heal ability that has got you through really and these guys don't have it. You had it easy for a while. How do you think Magi of the Forest feels?? He reinvented himself on numerous occasions. There is room for us all."

The Tree wasn't happy.
"Sticking up for the magical monsters Obsidean and you are only in the door. You have changed the direction of Earth Splinter group for ever. No longer are we a ranged attack and sheer might splinter. We are now a magical splinter. The Earth Splinter is no more. We need to divide the group"

Little did Earth Splinter group know that this discussion was going on in all the other Splinter Groups. Prices are falling out of the sky as these Chaos Legion Monsters are starting to get ahead in battles.

A spokesman for Monsters said it is a good result over all.

"Some of these older monsters from Alpha and Beta were turning into right old diva's and we will be glad that they have had their come uppance. The wages and Dec that some of these monsters were
demanding was ridiculous. The tree wanted his own dressing room and his rider was getting more and more obscene. He is popular around the London circuit and is regularly seen with the worlds most prominent diva's. Good riddance to them. Stealing a living."

Lizza Minelli refused to comment on the Chaos Legion.
