Following my missing the PREVIOUS Trivia event, I made sure to set lots of reminder alarms this time round 🤣. I'm definitely not missing it for anything in the world again! (well, that's an exaggeration but it'll take something big to drag me away 😜)

Of course it's always our organizer/hostess/herald @huzzah who announces the start of Trivia. 📯🔊📢

There seems to be a lot more people than usual waiting in the Events channel today. Usually it's quite awhile before everyone streams into the proper channel for the event 🤔. Lots of GIFs from the eager crowds clamoring for Trivia to start. Claude seems a little lost with the music channels 😜.

Trivia finally kicks off and... it seems like all the "warm ups and stretches" as indicated in the GIFs didn't have any effect at all 🤣. Only 2 correct answers for the first 2 questions?

The first question was about the ubiquitous SIM card that's in ALL our mobile devices too! 😱🤯

At least we FINALLY got "more than two people who got it right" this time with the 3rd question 🤣. Trivia's back on track again!

For a moment in space and time, Liuke's and my minds were synced as we responded with the same Big Brother is Watching GIF in response to the George Orwell related Trivia question. From 1984 as @thaddeusprime correctly pointed out 😉.

Seemed like a poignant reminder of the bots who were culled from the server invasion earlier on 😂.

As we neared the end of Trivia, I actually thought THIS would be THAT question where we would finally get out 100% ALL CORRECT answer. But really guys? Nokia? Finland? I know Nokia has really come crashing down to Earth from it's heyday as the King of phones but surely that wasn't that long ago... was it? 😂

The infamous indestructible Nokia phones of yore, as @keyaelis confirms 😁. Oh how the mighty have fallen. 😭

All you Europeans who got it wrong too. Tsk 🤣 @ravenmus1c. Well, @wittyzell got it right by the process of elimination at least. 😜

It's been a really weird Trivia event this time round. No perfect score answers or any solo right/wrong contestants too. We would usually expect at least ONE out of these to appear.

Well, moving on to Gartic next, with some discussion on which version we want to play. The one where we guess the terrible drawings? Or the one where we create the terrible drawings ourselves 😇.

On to the next event PIZZA Community Game Night. And the community game for today is... drumroll 🥁🥁🥁... GARTIC!

After deliberation, it was decided that we would try to break our Gartic record. So, back to guessing the terrible artists' drawings on Discord it'll be.

As you can see though, it seemed like it was doomed from the start. The very first question and the Gartic Bot crashed.

Several attempts and more crashes later and it was decided that the poor Gartic Bot was beyond saving. A most apt GIF from @chefbgob 😁. It seemed like the bot invasion earlier on and their resulting defeat left the resident bots of Discord in a confused state of mind eh @dubble? 😜

Luckily we've got the new option of playing on the Gartic website itself now.

This being the first week I played the new version of Gartic, I've got to say it's a completely different experience. And we got to become the terrible artists ourselves 🤣. Now at least we know how hard it is a task to actually draw.

Unfortunately, moving the game off discord has the disadvantage of many people retiring from the event. 😭 We ended up with @huzzah @jfuji (the lightning fingers King of Gartic!) @surien @candnpg @nane-qts @chechostreet @wittyzell @drabs587 playing.

As you can see from the screenshots 😏 our standards of drawing were probably worse than all the artists we've been complaining about usually. Well, all except Huzzah that is. When it comes to her turn to draw, it's always of a different level to the rest of us 😨.

🎭All Good Things Must Come to an End🎭

Well, we finally came to end of our Trivia and community games night. It got extended much later than usual thanks to the bot attacks and the crashing gartic bot. I finally got to try out the new version of Gartic and it was pretty fun, albeit laggy. Big Thanks as usual to Huzzah for her efforts, and everyone else who attended the events at one point or another! It's all thanks to everyone that the events are a success! 🥳🥳🥳

P.S. Raven has a knack of falling asleep and waking up at the end of the event! 😁
